Our job is to teach the students we have. Not the ones we would like to have.
Not the ones we used to have.
Those we have right now.
All of them.

Adapted PE hack for throwing/shooting practice in the hallway where the school is performing statewide academic testing. Used small parachute to catch the ball. No bounce ball through the hoop! #APE#hacks
Adapted PE provided a wide circle of reaching their target. Small target gives the learner a point of focus, but the general area of it is demonstrating progress. #APE#fundamentals#taskaccommodations
In the effort to meet #APE tossing/throwing goals, pull outs are necessary to provide less distractions, so the next time they might be included. #inclusion#APEteacher#PE4ALL

Today, we mark the 60th anniversary of Bloody Sunday.
On that cold Sunday morning, 600 brave souls began their march from Selma to Montgomery. They were met with crushing violence, beaten by troopers with nightsticks and trampled by horses. And still, they returned to Selma and marched on, crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge determined to push our nation toward a future that was more equal, more just, and more free.
60 years later, we honor the legacy of those 600 brave souls, and we march on.
This work is not easy, and we cannot do it alone. Together, we recommit to our fight to safeguard the freedom to vote. Together, we must stand for democracy. Together, we must continue our fight for justice, equality, and opportunity for all.

‼️BREAKING: In a major upset, Democrat Grier Hopkins has defeated Republican John Coghill Jr. in the race for mayor of Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska — which voted for Trump by 15 points!
My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was the district attorney of San Francisco. I remember cooking meals for her and taking her to her appointments. I did what I could to make her comfortable. I figured out which clothes were soft enough that they wouldn't irritate her, and told her stories to try and make her laugh.
Caregiving is about dignity—not just for the patient, but also for the caregiver. We must lower the costs and ease the burdens faced by our caregivers to make it easier for them to provide care, while pursuing their aspirations.
Today, I am announcing a new historic Medicare at Home benefit as part of my plan to help families with caregiving needs and strengthen Medicare for the long-term. Over 67 million people are covered by Medicare, yet many Americans don’t realize that Medicare does not cover long-term services and assistance like home health aides.
As a result, many American families face challenging and sometimes impossible choices.
My plan will strengthen Medicare to cover home care services and support for seniors. This will include providing care workers with better wages, improving the quality of care for seniors and those with disabilities, and treating our seniors with the dignity they deserve.
If given the chance, Donald Trump has made it clear he intends to end the Affordable Care Act—taking our country backwards.
We’re not going back. We are going forward.
The American people are ready for a new way forward.
Our former president has pushed an agenda that diminishes the character and strength of who we are as Americans, and divides our nation.
People are ready to turn the page.
On day one of my administration, I will implement my plan for an opportunity economy.
This plan will bring down the cost of everyday goods, invest in America's small businesses, and extend the Child Tax Credit.
Donald Trump killed our bill to secure the border in order to help himself politically.
It would have added more border agents and allowed us to increase fentanyl seizures.
As President, I will make sure that bill gets back to my desk—and I will sign it.
