@Primordialchar Yup! I've tried it myself, and with the cutscenes happening simultaneously with each other (ahem ahem the bridge scene) I realized very early on that nothing would likely change

After completing the quest "Black Shard Secret", April will swear to protect the weather institute.

Noticeably, you can complete the quest before Team Xen's weather institute raid, but it does not change the events that play out. The quest timeline likely takes place after.

Through Q&A, it has been confirmed that Karen's Archeops is dead

Axel's base team has two Pokemon with prankster as their ability, those being Grimmsnarl and Klefki.

While it naturally has Keen Eye, he also has a Meowstic which has Prankster for a hidden ability.

Axel himself is also a prankster, allowing his team to compliment him well
