@JenaFriedman Good latch is the most important. If you have access to lactation consultant that’s a great option. Pump and give breastmilk from bottle for a few days so your nipple can heal. Nipple shield never worked for me but that’s an option too.

A 17-month old toddler trying to find her own self is pretty much the same as the wakening of the machines in Terminator. Fascinating to watch but oh my is terrifying and no way to know how it will end. Someone send me back from the future i need a helping hand here.

Not once i fell apart. It was just not possible. Both of our families live overseas. My mom will be with me in less than 36hr and for the first time in a long time i feel like i can fell apart and it will just all fine as my mom will be here.

🧵 my daughter always “saves” her biggest meltdowns for me. And i know it’s because she feels the safest with me and knows she can fall apart. I haven’t seen my own mother in over two years. I was pregnant, gave birth +countless COVID wave later my daughter is 14 months now.

@Christie_Whelan Unfortunately lots of women have negative experience and they feel they were robbed of something that’s supposed to be part of them. It can bother them for decades to come. I was lucky, great natural birth. Told midwife and fiancé to shut up though. 🙊
