Dear @deliveroo, no need to reply. I just want you to know why I'm deleting your app and deregistering myself. I ordered 4 items from Coop, total cost Β£15.05 but one item was missing. Your app values that item at Β£4.30, but I was refunded 80p. Goodbye π
@DryEtienne@drizzleanddip You never want to nominate an institution as the executor. They are terrible executors. Slow and expensive. So many horror stories from people who go their will drawn up at the bank for free.
@NikkiBenatar That looks great. The dry ice might be a bit over the top! My best was in Hong Kong. They slice it for you at the table and present various parts with different accompaniments. It was a very memorable experience.
After 61k views on this Tweet, I need to reiterate that the Dax Tong is the ONLY tong I've used since forever (You need to 'klak klak' them twice before turning the boerie though) Thanks to https://t.co/rXFLAHDQI0 for the new tools!
In a worldwide 1st, Northern Ireland & Canada are set to become the first 2 countries to introduce 'Orgtober' to the school calendar in 2023 β a full month dedicated to promoting organ donation education among students, teachers & families across the world!β€οΈπ @MightyOrgamites
To be very clear here...these are the only braai tongs that anyone should ever have. If you have any others and believe you are correct in your decision-making...well, you are wrong.
If you are heading to #meatopia this weekend, definitely check out stand 14. Super authentic and delicious. If they bottle that green sauce, I'll take a litre!
@drizzleanddip You will need cash in Spain. Where in Spain you go will dictate how much though. Some areas take credit/debit cards more than others. The fees to withdraw from an ATM are quite high. I've seen β¬8 and that's probably not the highest. The lowest I found was Banc Sabadell (<β¬2).
I just subscribed to @Citymapper at Β£10 per year. It doesn't unlock additional functionality, but it's a way to show my appreciation for a brilliant app that I use most days. I can't imagine navigating London without it! π
@Tarryn_Lea I agree, I thought it was quite helpful. I probably would have the sense not to, or no need to, do it in a very high end restaurant (which many of those seem to be).
That clearing of plates must be hard to navigate for servers as some want them cleared despite the etiquette!
This is a good list of bad habits of diners. I'm glad that I'm guilty of none, except for turning an empty wine bottle upside down in the ice bucket, I've definitely done that before π«£

Recently discovered the @libraryofthings and I have to say it is a great idea. Rented a carpet cleaner for a day and sorted out all my carpets and rugs for a fraction of what a cleaning service would charge #brilliant
There are only a handful of wines available for pouring in the BA Business Class lounge at Heathrow T5. Good to see South African wines represented among them...
