People are trooping into the Deen daily because they have finally seen the truth for themselves. For years, the West sold a narrative of Islam that was all about chaos and restriction.

Now, in this age where information is everywhere, people are looking at the actual texts and the quiet character of the believers. They are finding the peace and discipline they were told didn't exist.

Therefore, protesting a building in a city will not stop the light from entering the hearts. One by one, the lies are being exposed, and the light of Islam keeps shining brighter.

“God bless women” sounds like

1. They are making a huge sacrifice birthing children and is something they didn’t want themselves - false.

2. They acquired that ability themselves - False.

They are naturally made to go through all that as it is basically their nature, granted to them by their Creator.

It is something they want and wish for. Not a sacrifice to favour anyone.

If awe is to be shown, it is towards the amazing awesomeness of the Almighty.

What I have realized is pundits are really pushing Man City to win the EPL this season but they are forgetting one thing and that's if it was written for Arsenal there is nothing that can be done to change that and vice versa.

Every time Man City wins the game they are all saying that Doku's equaliser Vs Everton is the most important goal for Man City because it may be vital for them to win the EPL this season.

My question is why is it that they don't look at the disadvantage of Man City dropping points in that game. Currently Man City have a superior goal advantage compared to Arsenal and they would be favourites to win the EPL if they won that game but they didn't which I think is the difference right now and gives Arsenal the upper hand of winning the EPL.

They are sure Arsenal will drop points but even before Man City dropped points Vs Everton all the rivals and some pundits predicted Arsenal to drop points and it was rather Man City that ended up dropping points. Doku's goal is very important to those who want Man City to win the league but Everton holding Man City to a draw the difference in the title race this season.

The confusion you see here usually comes from mixing up the funeral prayer (Janazah) with the burial. There is no doubt that women can perform the Janazah prayer. Imam Nawawi clarified this in Al-Majmu, when he stated that it is recommended for women to join.

The best evidence is from Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) herself. In Sahih Muslim, it is recorded that she ordered the body of Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas to be brought into the mosque so she and the other wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) could pray over him.

When people at the time questioned it, she corrected them immediately. The reward for the prayer is huge for everyone, and it has nothing to do with gender. It is a shared duty to seek mercy for the deceased.

The part that people often debate is following the body to the grave. This is based on a report in Sahih Bukhari from Umm Atiyyah where she said women were discouraged from following the procession, however, it was not a strict command.

Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari explained that this makes it Makruh or disliked, rather than forbidden. In that era, it was common for people to wail loudly or even hurt themselves in grief, which is something the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted to move the community away from.

Therefore, by giving the physical task of burial to the men, the Shariah was able to protect the emotional state of the family and maintaining the solemnity of the event.

In all, it is not about a lower rank or being lesser in the eyes of God. It is about different roles in a difficult time. Just like men are forbidden from wearing silk or gold, it doesn't lower their rank, it just means there are specific boundaries for our own good.
