@IrelandsCraic32 If it's her we'll soon know, but I don't think she'd be *that* brazen about it if it were. She's also never made mention of a previous career in healthcare nevermind nursing, which you'd think she would given her persona of a fitness/lifestyle coach and recovering addict π€·π»ββοΈ
If it's ******** ******* how disappointing, if it's **** well I only discovered them a month or so ago so disappointing but slightly less so and at least nobody's buying their books (to my knowledge)
I don't really go here so still not entirely sure what's happened exactly on therapy twitter but team not attacking other therapists looks & personalities (and not being a misogynist wtf) because you disagree about theory(?) Bunch o' weirdos, that's the diagnostic term I'd use.
@xlydiamay@orlacsm This has always bugged me! As have Haribo "Tangfastics". If it's a pun on "fantastic" and "tangy" surely it should be called "Tangtastics"???
Are BACP et al remotely concerned that their push for #SCoPEd is making it nearly impossible for newly qualified/pre-accredited/level 4 etc practitioner's to find work? Why is every job listing suddenly insisting on accreditation/column B/level 5 or above? Qualified is qualified!
There were about half a dozen men in my counselling training cohort (of which I was the only π π»π³οΈβπ) and while I have MANY gripes with the training I can't say that I experienced any negativity on the basis of sex. Tutors were glad to see more men applying π€·π»
@OnNegation I remember thinking when I had finished this "I'm glad I read this now and not when I was a seriously depressed and repressed teen" because it was BLEAK. Obviously captures ennui and anhedonia wonderfully, but Christ not a fun read
@avispartan1@pop_mycology "it is nothing to be ashamed of, no vice, no degradation; it cannot be classified as an illness; we consider it to be a variation of the sexual function" - Freud on homosexuality btw. He goes on to name some homosexuals he admires and respects. He was, in many ways, progressive
@Keitsune_ Meanwhile a brief skim of her Wikipedia will tell you Kitty is consistently ranked among the most popular and well-known X-Men characters including by non-comic book media, has been referenced in music, TV and Movies, and inspired creation of other characters like Buffy...
