Being stoic isn't the same as being mature. I mean, he spent half the show chasing after his little brother just to get a sword he couldn't even hold.

Inuyasha, Kagome, and Kikyo's story was the meaningful one and the definition of sacrifice and love that transcends time.

While Sesshomaru and Rin's story is a cute side story at best, Rin was there for Sesshomaru's character development, but that's all she was.
