@ericnofsinger the particles are all visual anyway 😊 if you closely watch a single fish it spawns into existence and then fades into the distance
the fishy movement is a mixture of a spinning attractor rig and 3D turbulence

the fish are just a particle system so we can easily force them away from the player by attaching a ParticleAttractor3D node to the player rig and setting the attraction power to a negative number
also more batteries
