Krankzinnig verhaal dit

This is one of the most heartbreaking and disturbing stories imaginable.

Two tiny boys, aged just 5 and 3, were allegedly taken more than 1,000 miles from their home in France to remote woodland in Portugal… then abandoned there by the very people who were supposed to protect them.

The little brothers, Barthélémy (5) and Zacharie (3), were reportedly blindfolded by their mother Marine, 41, and her partner Marc, who allegedly told them it was part of a twisted “game to drive away the devil.”

According to investigators, the boys were told a knife had been buried somewhere in the woods and that they could only remove their blindfolds once they found it and cut themselves free.

Just stop and think about that for a moment.

Two terrified toddlers.
Blindfolded.
Alone in the woods.
Digging desperately through dirt trying to find a knife because they believed their parents.

Reports say the boys clawed at the ground for several minutes before Barthélémy finally removed the blindfolds himself — only to realise their mother and Marc had completely vanished.

No parents.
No help.
No idea where they were.

The frightened children then wandered alone for hours through remote countryside before eventually being found crying and screaming beside the quiet N235 road between Alcácer do Sal and Comporta at around 7pm on Tuesday evening.

The local couple who rescued them said the boys were absolutely terrified, covered in dirt and bruises, with one suffering a grazed knee and both desperately crying out for their father.

Each child reportedly carried nothing but a tiny backpack with a few spare clothes, pieces of fruit and bottles of water.

No identification.
No adults.
Nothing.

Thankfully, doctors later confirmed both children were physically healthy and toxicology tests showed they had not been drugged. They have now been placed into foster care.

Meanwhile Portuguese police have launched an urgent child abandonment investigation while French authorities are also investigating allegations of neglect after both the boys’ grandmother and biological father had already reported them missing.

Marine’s own mother reportedly told police she believed the children had been abducted.

Their father, who is separated from Marine, also filed a child abduction report.

At the centre of all this are two innocent little boys whose lives may be scarred forever by what they allegedly endured.

No child should ever experience fear like that. What the literal FUCK is wrong with people this is one of the saddest stories I’ve ever heard and cruelest.

Those poor little boys were allegedly digging through dirt blindfolded because they trusted their parents, sadly those little boys will probably carry the trauma of that fear and confusion of that awful day for the rest of their lives.
