Why do people talk about the weather so much? It’s so tiring!
Why don’t we talk about the universe, black holes, psychology, psychopaths, quantum physics, neurology, colours, and so on instead? This! This gives energy!
I’ve been watching @behaviorpanel, and today I finally caught someone lying.
Q: “Did you eat breakfast?”
A: “Yeah, I usually eat breakfast.”
The liar was me.
The cool part? I didn’t do it consciously. My brain just swapped a specific truth for a general one on autopilot.
We take personality tests curled up on the sofa, calm and comfortable.
Real life is stress, pressure, noise, urgency, emotions, consequences.
So I keep wondering:
Do these tests really give the right scores?
The right answers?
The right conclusions?
