@nightrider1943 Thank you for your feedback. This is a known issue. Simply put, the API provided by Apple currently does not support a third mode beyond dark and light. We have also found that developers of other products have raised the same request. However, we can explore and see what we can.
@ktostakijakja04 You can use the basic functions for free. These basic functions are the ones found in the native launchpad. Some advanced functions not included in it are provided as paid features. Free version no ads, and the main interface does not display any buttons guiding you to pay.
@reinfhia We found that this is not a bug, because the data provided by the API is opaque, including what is seen in Finder and Apps. However, since it can be displayed as clear mode in the Dock, this means there might be a way, but we still need to investigate further.
Introducing LaunchOS v2.0:
Faster, smoother, lighter on memory, and more native than ever.
It feels almost indistinguishable from the classic Launchpad experience on macOS, just better where it matters.

@geopozitcia@8ptshmnk@DmitriyRogozin Thanks for the recommendation. A few additions:
1. v2 is a refactored and optimized version, offering a more native-like Launchpad experience. v1.2 had several issues; v1.5 resolved most, but v2 is even better.
2. The basic features are free comparable to the native Launchpad.
@DylanMcD8 In terms of pricing, you can understand it this way: since it does not support simultaneous use on multiple devices, our single-device retail price is much lower than similar products. This also follows the mature practices of many software applications.
@DylanMcD8 In fact, we submitted the application to the App Store immediately, but it was rejected due to Guideline 5.2.5, which does not allow the listing of a clone of an existing app, even if that app is no longer available on the new system.
@AlienArt8 Thank you for your support. Are you unable to make a purchase because you are from Russia or certain countries? You can contact us via the email on our official website, and we will try to help you resolve the issue.
LaunchOS v2.0 refactoring is 90% complete, with internal testing underway.
After testing, a public beta will open for sign-ups.
LaunchOS aims to remain a top choice for users who want the classic Launchpad, even on future macOS versions.
