Telehealth will never take off until payors are 100% agnostic to the method of communication and the value communication brings to managing the health issue. Literally, the same value can often be delivered in a one sentence asynchronous update as a 15 minute office visit.
Extremely interesting insights! The 30%+ follow up rates and 80%+ being upper respiratory is powerful and exactly where Remmie can play critical role. “Conclusion:Most eVisits for minor acute illnesses can be completed without any further interaction with the healthcare system.”

@swimto40 Sad to see the old one crack but we are glad you got the new one! Wondering if you’d consider a digital otoscope for capturing symptoms? We are a parent-designed product through symptoms would be important for patient-clinician engagement.
The otoscope is the tool used to visualize the ear canal and eardrum👂This tool is typically used first by audiologists and physicians for all ear-related appointments. The otoscope can help identify outer/middle ear abnormalities such as excessive wax, signs of infection, etc.
@kctheqweenbee Amazing wishlist! Thank you, as parents with kids through recurring ear problems, for what you do! We’d highly recommend the product we designed, Remmie digital otoscope, in case helpful for the convenience of capturing symptoms.
The worst! We all understand the pain, hope like most ear infections their heal on their own in a few days and feel better soon! A pediatrician friend of mine told me nose wash could help prevent recurring ones!
Pain especially when lying down is especially pronounced for ear infections. There is probably fluid causing pressure imbalance. A nose wash sometimes help believe it or not. So sorry to hear, it’s the worst!
The worst part about my current ear infection is not my entire inability to hear from my left ear, but the extreme discomfort when laying in my normal sleep position.
I have a severe ear infection, I’m experiencing a lot of pain pressure and swelling hopefully I’ll be better soon I think. I can’t work until Tuesday unfortunately
So sorry to hear. They should be available by prescription from your physician or a board-certified virtual provider should work too! Hope you feel better soon!
