@okcclips The team can afford to keep whoever they want. It just becomes a situation where keeping someone means letting someone else go. We will find out who the team values more this summer. Good thing Presti has known about this situation all year and probably has a plan.
@SATX_Poker@NotAnOKCFan We would’ve still kicked their ass. Much respect to Hali though. And I’m one of those Thunder fans that don’t make excuses for injuries. We lost game 7 of a tight series, fair and square. We aren’t going anywhere though. See everybody next year…same time, same channel.
@Nerd_Sesh I agree. If I’m Presti, I don’t trade Chet. However…I’m calling him, his agent, his personal trainer and Make Daigneault into my office and we are having a tough conversation. What happened in game 7 can never happen again.
@2Cool2Blog@Higher_Learning I’m still exhausted from the 2024 rap wars. I’d prefer it not turn into anything big. Just make hits and give us good quality music.
@NotAnOKCFan When I hear him talk, it feels likes he’s 12. That’s not an insult, he’s just super young right now. I think he will come in, play a small role and try to learn the NBA game. That’s the only expectation I have of him going into the season. And please stay healthy.
@MattSandersNBA There is absolutely no reason IHart should take less money, especially after guarding Wemby the way he just did. He will want every penny and deserves it. The Thunder just need to decide if they are willing to pay it.
@vettepassby35 Lived in CA for years. The thing I noticed, locals stay forever…most transplants stay for a season and move around. Cost of living is the reason. If I’m born and raised in CA and my family is there, it’s easier for me to stay. If not, it’s hard for US to afford it.
@all_things_OKC For $45/mil a year he better get a heart transplant this summer. The noise will only get louder now that the spotlight is on him. Teams will try him every chance they get next season. He has to come back tougher. We will see.
@BKSecretsports If it’s that big of a deal, tell Lu to take a pay cut and go to the bench so Caso can re-sign and start. Or better yet, tell Shai to take a pay cut on his next extension so we can keep Lu. See how crazy that all sounds? At the end of the day business is business.
@BrandonRahbar@dailythunder We didn’t lose because of injuries. I’ll scream that from the top of a mountain. This series could’ve gone either way, 100% healthy or not. Run it back next year…but I’m extremely worried about Chet in this matchup for years to come. Mental toughness and heart is key.
@405Fan I honestly don’t think ownership is worried about the money. We definitely can’t keep everybody, but you pay for a contender. I think we keep things in tact and unfortunately have to say goodbye to maybe 2 players (at max) that we love. The game is the game.
@AlexDrProf I just wish he would jab step and shoot over the smaller opponents. Every time he had a guard on him, he would start dribbling. He has to make the game simple.
