@rockegan@googledrive We recently launched a better version inside of Drive (see https://t.co/yuOPzaclML), and are currently working on bringing it to Docs/Sheets/Slides and Gmail as well. Please stay tuned!
An update to the Drive location picker was overdue! I'm excited that we have finally started the production rollout in Drive. Updates in Docs and Gmail are coming soon too. https://t.co/yuOPzabNXd
We just started the launch of a new setting for shared drives to allow or disallow content managers to share folders, check it out: https://t.co/5MNxfzXHaX
@jpalioto@googledrive 3rd party cookies for Drive downloads are required due to browser security reasons and to ensure that nobody other than you can download your data. Drive uses https://t.co/xFju4DNExt to serve your files & further enhance safety; a Google domain but considered 3rd party to Drive.

@MichalBryxi @gthomascraig@googledrive Previously, when a user deleted a folder, and items within the folder were owned by someone else and thus were not deleted, those files ended up being "unorganized". Since 2020, we no longer allow an item in Drive to not have a parent folder https://t.co/5sdoL67dzd
@MichalBryxi @gthomascraig@googledrive Most likely this is what happened: Your images where in a folder that another user owned. The other user then deleted that folder, and because others are not allowed to delete files you own, these images were moved to your My Drive root (because the folder no longer existed).
