@KSoltisAnderson How tf did a foreign tourist’s joy map turn into a political discussion?! Typical American media and political opinions; and y’all wonder how we got so divided. 🤦🏻♀️
@elsathora It’s a Monday thing and it’s only 8 pm there. Fremont doesn’t start hopping til around 10 pm at the earliest most nights. As an international visitor, though, this is a great opportunity to walk it without it geing supwr crowded.
@elsathora@NatashaCL7 Used to be a flight attendant, so it’s just my nature. Well, that, and I hate not getting much use out of that extra room. Ha! Enjoy Vegas, but stay situationally aware now that you’re a smaller travel party. Cheers!🥂
Am I the only one who didn’t see the mass of hospitable gestures towards foreign visitors coming when America was decided to host #FIFAWorldCup? It’s crazy to see commercial franchises, sports teams, and political figures opening their arms for some of these folks. 🥰
@LUFC1992_v2 I’m hope y’all enjoyed the game! You already know all the popujar spots to hit, but if any of us DFW followers can help suggest hidden gems, just drop us a DM. We’re all friendly here. Have a great stay! 🍻
@FreddyLA7@kelcebrothers this German soccer fan here for the World Cup is coming your way in the next few days, and I think he’d be an awesome (audio only since he retains his visual anonymity) podcast guest if it fits in with the schedule. JS…(obvi barring wedding schedule conflict) 😉
@FreddyLA7 I hafta admit, I’ve been to Canada before plenty, but it was always central (Banff and Edmonton). Your imagery from Niagara Falls had me texting ny husband about a visit up there next year. I’ve never had the opportunity to see the falls before.
@tigers@FreddyLA7 heck yes!!! And I’m a Texas Rangers girl, but any MLB baseball team jumping into your DM’s right now is another legacy memory to take home with you next month! Keep living the American dream young man! 🙌🏻
@FreddyLA7 If you’re near Detroit, the area out west of the airport known as Belleville is nice scenery this time of year. Ann Arbor is a college town and has lots of good food spots too.
@GordonRamsay@FreddyLA7 this is a rare invitation! He’s not regularly public at all, so you might ought to take Chef Ramsay up on whatever’s he’s got cooked up for you. 😉
@tuuu28283 Gosh, the list is pretty endless. Washington DC for the Capital and historic monuments. NYC for Ground Zero, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, and others. California for the ocean views. The Florida Keys (islands) for more tropical ocean vibes. There’s not room here to list all!
@tuuu28283 I lived in Cali for a couple years as a child, and the coastline there is beautiful. That said, the taxes and social issues are not what I’m used to as a native Texan. To each their own IMO.
@elsathora@SecretsBedard Ngl, if you’re playing, they’re not really free. 🤪 I usually tip $2-$4 a drink depending on the personality of the server. Be sure you go check out the @Bellagio Conservatory atrium display if you have time, along with the famous Bellagio water fountains show. 🫶🏼
