Community engagement process to rename Taney Street in Philadelphia. Organized by 9 community organizations representing neighborhoods where the street runs.
> 600 residents voted & there is a clear winner: Caroline LeCount! Often considered "Philadelphia's Rosa Parks." She fought to integrate the streetcar system in the 1860s and was a teacher and school principal of an all-black school for 50 years!

It’s been a long four years, but with a new Councilmember, new coordination across council offices, the mayor’s administration, and state and federal government, change is as likely as it’s ever been. Show up and be part of the change!
