Senate Republicans are officially moving forward with a proposal to give the Secret Service up to $1 BILLION of OUR tax money for “security upgrades” to Trump’s White House ballroom bunker, arguing that more security is “needed” for the president after a man was charged with “trying to assassinate him.”

Where was this money for the 20 Sandy Hook kids⁉️

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., said the total is “what it costs to protect the President of the United States in a very dangerous time and a dangerous world.”

“Keeping the leader of the free world safe is an expensive proposition,” Thune said. “The Secret Service has a job to defend and protect the president, and we need to make sure they have the tools to do it.”

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said it best:

“Well, give me a break. He’s put a billion dollars in the budget for it. This staggering waste of taxpayer dollars has nothing, nothing to do with security and everything to do with Trump’s ego.”

Ламали ребра, роздягали і знімали на фото. А звук скотча, який розмотують, - тепер це найстрашніший звук у її житті.

Анжела Піцу півроку провела в російському полоні. Їй ламали ребра, жорстоко били, наказували роздягатися і фотографували оголеною. Тримали у кількох катівнях, зокрема і в Оленівці.

У 49 років Анжела пішла до ЗСУ - спершу як кухар, а згодом, опанувавши артилерійську справу, стала оператором протитанкових ракетних комплексів.

Повномасштабна війна застала її у Маріуполі.

"Все було - напруга, постійна напруга. Рано, четверта година, уже вони летіли, винищувачі і бомбардували", - згадує вона.

Коли захищатися було вже нічим, військові вирішили виходити з Маріуполя.

На допиті в Оленівці кати зламали Анжелі ребра. "Я кажу: я військова, я служу там. Підходить інша людина, у тактичних рукавицях. І цією кісточкою вниз - як ударила мені в ребра, що біль одразу віддав у серце".

У тісній камері було майже 30 жінок військових із Сумщини, Тернополя, Львова та Маріуполя. Трималися разом, щоб не зламатися психологічно.

На День незалежності троє з них - Віка, Анжела і Зоряна - заспівали гімн України. Тихо, але так, що було чути. І за стіною, у сусідній камері, його підхопили.

Найстрашнішими моментами Анжела називає катування побратимів і звук розгортання скотчу. Тепер він змушує її здригатися.

1 жовтня військових вивезли з Оленівки до колонії у Воронезькій області. Там наказали роздягнутись і помитись, а потім жінку фотографували.

"Я кажу: що ви шукаєте, що ви робите?. - "Я тату ищу", відповіли їй. Верх поставили, там якийсь довгий номер - і почали фотографувати. Я в цей момент просто згадала Велику Вітчизняну Війну".

17 жовтня до камери зайшли вже не конвоїри, а військові. Українських полонених повезли на обмін.

"Ми стояли нещасні такі, худі. Нам дали щось перекусити. Боже, ми як побачили там ковбаску, сир - це не повірити: в одній руці хліб, в другій ковбаса. Стільки часу не бачити нормальну їжу".

Мрія, яка допомогла Анжелі витримати полон - обійняти батьків та доньок - нарешті здійснилась.

"Я дуже тобою пишаюся, ти в мене сама гарна квіточка на світі, я тебе дуже люблю, моя хороша", - каже вона своїй донечці по відеозв'язку.

Після пережитого Анжела пройшла реабілітацію. Сьогодні їй допомагає хобі, віра у перемогу і найбільше бажання - повернути з полону усіх побратимів.

A Texas police chief in plain clothes and an unmarked truck pulled into a man’s driveway, pinned him against his truck, put a hand on his neck and said “I’m the police chief, so deal with me”

Police Chief Aaron Burleson and another officer approached without identifying themselves or using lights. One officer said, “I’m the police chief, so deal with me.” Bates said he feared for his life. His wife recorded the video. Bates was cited for two stop-sign violations and released. He plans to sue. The city is investigating and has asked a neighboring agency and the Texas Rangers for an independent review. The officers involved are assigned to non-patrol duties.
