Character can sabotage God's blessings. It's not as if God doesn't answer some prayers, but some people sabotage the answer to those prayers with their character.

You can't have a character-less faith. Paul wrote, that "If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need." (Ephesians 4:28 NLT)

The proof of faith is character, not rituals. The Christian walk is not perceived through prayer meeting attendance and fasting. Character is evidence of faith.
