@LBro64 @scorchedprince I'm not a fan of how we activate abilities in totk, and building- idk it's not for me. I feel like it slows the pace of the game down to have to stop and attach and oops I attached to the wrong spot and re-attach. It's cumbersome. But I've accepted that I'm in the minority here

This is actually a problem. I'm not sure if #TearsOfTheKingdom expected for players to do more exploring and harbor resources before doing the main quests but enemy strength compared to starting armor/hearts is very unbalanced.
