@msiuba @eemoin We like to look for alternative methods to try to deliver a stable FI02. High flow nasal cannula or Non-invasive mask ventilation. The goal is to meet the 02 needs (demand) and avoid intubation long enough for medical intervention to reverse the underlying disease process.

@msiuba @eemoin The actual delovered O2 is about 70% due to inspiratory demand and room air entrainment. Or I should say affected by inspiratory demand and entrainment. If you add a nasal cannula you can increase total flow and increase FI02 a little. Yes, turning it to flush can also do this.
