Governor @GovTinaKotek, reconsider your decision not to participate in the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit.
Eligible taxpayers could receive up to $1,700—or $3,400 for married couples filing jointly—for qualifying contributions to scholarship-granting organizations.
Oregon families deserve the same educational opportunities available in participating states.
Please reconsider and give Oregon families the opportunity to benefit.

Your decision not to participate in the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit is injustice to Oregon families already struggling. Why not allow this extra support???

Oregon has chosen not to participate in the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit beginning in 2027.
The federal program allows eligible taxpayers to receive up to $1,700, or $3,400 for married couples filing jointly, for qualifying contributions to scholarship-granting organizations.
The credit can support scholarships for eligible K–12 students, including students attending private schools.
The program is voluntary for states, and the IRS reports that 29 states have made an advance election to participate for 2027.
Oregon lawmakers introduced HB 4133, which would require Oregon to participate in the federal scholarship tax-credit program.
The bill remains in the House Education Committee.
This is about educational choice and opportunity for Oregon families—including those choosing private and faith-based education.
Please reconsider Oregon’s decision.

@PDXReal1@multco@MayorKWilson there are plenty of folks who’ve been laid off from jobs that I’m sure would gladly work in-person. Don’t settle for less. This state deserves better!
@ChristineDrazan I truly believe you’ll reach more voters by staying positive and talking about what you can do rather than constantly criticizing your opponent.
@ChristineDrazan I think people want to hear your plan and, most importantly, how you’re going to get results. We’re tired of the political finger-pointing. Just as she seems fixated on Trump, you shouldn’t be fixated on her. Focus on your vision, your solutions, and what you’ll accomplish.
@ChristineDrazan@TinaKotek@GovTinaKotek have you lost your mind? Who told you a “B”….its time for a reality check and some soul searching. Have you ran a business in Oregon, have you sent kids to a public school, have you driven down 122nd in the past decade? We’re in a tragic situation in OR
@paramounttactcl@RealCandaceO “or any Harvey Weinstein friend, business associate, corporation, PR firm or otherwise.
So that we are beyond clear here— I was not paid or even offered payment for my interview. I cover cases that I am interested in and I do it entirely for free, always.”
