My dear students, parents, and fellow citizens,

Today, I stand not merely as a doctor, but as a concerned citizen who understands the dreams carried by every young student in this country.

For lakhs of students, medicine is not just a profession—it is a calling. Yet, year after year, uncertainty surrounding entrance examinations has created fear, anxiety, and immense emotional stress among our youth. The recent protests in Delhi remind us that when students come to the streets, they are not asking for privileges; they are asking to be heard. (Reuters⁠)

I extend my solidarity to every student who is protesting peacefully and democratically. Their voices deserve respect, not dismissal. A nation that listens to its students builds a stronger future. (Reuters⁠)

The debate on NEET is not merely about an examination. It is about equal opportunity. We must ask ourselves:

Is our system reducing disparities between urban and rural students?
Are students from economically weaker backgrounds getting a fair chance?
Can we ensure transparency and accountability in national examinations?

If an examination system loses the trust of students, reforms become an obligation—not an option.

I support the demand for a comprehensive review of NEET and all necessary reforms that will ensure transparency, fairness, and equal access to medical education. If, after careful deliberation, the people and policymakers conclude that NEET has failed in its objectives, they must have the courage to replace it with a better system.

Let us remember: students are not our adversaries. They are the future doctors, scientists, teachers, and leaders of this nation.

I appeal to all students to continue their struggle peacefully and constitutionally. Let your protest be guided by truth, discipline, and unity. History has repeatedly shown that when young people speak with one voice, governments listen.

Let us work towards an India where no student loses hope, no parent loses sleep, and no dream is denied because of an unfair system.

Dear @CMOTamilnadu, Hon’ble Health Minister Dr. K. G. Arunraj, @DoHFWTN, and all policymakers,

The compulsory medical bond system in Tamil Nadu deserves an urgent review.

Doctors are committed to serving society, but compulsory bonds with heavy penalties do not build a stronger healthcare system. Retention comes from fair pay, safe working conditions, career opportunities, and mutual respect—not coercion.

We request the Government of Tamil Nadu to engage with doctors, medical associations, and stakeholders to reform or abolish the existing bond system and create a policy that is fair, sustainable, and beneficial to both doctors and patients.

A motivated doctor serves better than a compelled doctor.
