The Bible contains the mind of God, the condition of man, the way of salvation, the judgment of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Read it to be wise. Believe it to be safe. Practice it to be holy.

The enemy may roar like a lion, but through Jesus, he has no real authority over your life.
In this powerful conversation, we want to remind you that the enemy often attacks through thoughts — loud, repetitive, fear-filled thoughts that roar against your identity in Christ. Friend, don’t mistake the roar for real power!
Jesus stripped the enemy of his authority. The devil’s goal is to intimidate you into agreement with lies, but God’s Word tells you who you really are. When thoughts come that condemn, accuse, or try to crush your faith, recognize the source and answer it with truth. The roar of the enemy cannot overpower the voice of God in your life.

When your mind is fortified with the Word of God, everything changes. The enemy wants believers trapped in lies, fear, and confusion, but when we renew our minds with God’s Word, we position ourselves for the power of God to flow through us.
Friend, you were not called to live defeated. Through Jesus, you have authority to pray, to speak in faith, to intercede, and to stand against darkness. When you stand on the foundation of God’s truth, you can boldly declare His promises and walk in victory.
The enemy hates when believers know who they are in Christ, because a believer grounded in truth becomes powerful in prayer and effective in spiritual warfare.

There is power in the Word of God when it’s spoken with faith.
In Psalm 149, we see a picture of believers praising God while holding the “two-edged sword” of His Word in their hands. When we pray, declare Scripture, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, spiritual things begin to shift. The battles we face are not only natural, but God has given believers authority through His Word and through prayer to stand firm and bring His light into dark places.
Friend, don’t underestimate the power of declaring God’s promises over your life. When the Word of God is mixed with faith and released boldly, it shakes the realm of the spirit and brings change.

Darkness isn’t just something we push back! Through prayer, intercession, and the Word of God, we can take authority over it.
In this powerful conversation with my special guest, Joseph Z, you will be reminded of the story of Elisha in Dothan. When fear surrounded Elisha and his servant, God opened the servant’s eyes to see the armies of Heaven standing near — there were more for them than against them!
Friend, no matter what you’re facing today, Heaven’s resources are greater than the opposition around you. Keep praying, reading your Bible, and standing in faith. God has not left you defenseless!

Everyone in my family knows that when Thanksgiving or Christmas comes around, Rick Renner is going to cook the turkey — and not just any turkey. I always try to find the biggest one possible! One year, I cooked a 42-pound turkey!
Now, I may not do a lot of cooking throughout the year, but when it comes to turkey, I take my assignment very seriously. There’s just something special about gathering together as a family around the table, sharing a meal, laughing, remembering God’s goodness, and making memories together. And for our family, the turkey has become part of that tradition.
So every Thanksgiving and Christmas, you can count on one thing — Rick Renner will be cooking the turkey!

One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is that God is “the seeing One.” Even when no one else notices your obedience, your generosity, or your sacrifice, nothing ever escapes His attention.
In Matthew 6, Jesus calls Him, “Thy Father which seeth in secret…,” and the Greek actually describes God as “the seeing One.”
I love that, because it reminds us that Heaven never overlooks what is done with a sincere heart. Men may never know what you’ve given or how you’ve obeyed the prompting of the Holy Spirit, but God sees every act of faithfulness.
God is a faithful rewarder. He sees every hidden act of kindness, every quiet gift, every sacrifice made out of love for Him, and He never forgets. Friend, don’t be discouraged if nobody notices what you do for the Kingdom. The Father is the seeing One, and what is done for Him is never wasted.

God is calling upon you to stand up and fight — giving your concentrated efforts to stand firm for what you believe. Fight in a manner that is noble, admirable, and worthy of the reward that awaits you. Stay in the fight until you can shout, “The fight is finished, and victory is obtained!

Jesus warned us not to turn our acts of righteousness into a performance for people to applaud. The issue is not applicable to when people happen to see your giving or your good works — sometimes that naturally happens. The issue is the motive behind it: Are you doing it to honor God, or are you doing it to be noticed by people?
Jesus said that when recognition from others becomes our goal, then the applause of men is the only reward we will receive.
Friend, God looks deeper than outward actions — He looks at the heart. Let your giving, your serving, and your acts of kindness flow from a sincere desire to please Him, not to impress people. What is done for God in secret will never be overlooked by Heaven.

Many churches nowadays try to soften the subject of hell, skirt around it, or even offer false doctrine about it in an attempt to avoid discomfort. I want to tell you that God never wants us to be afraid, but He also doesn’t want us to ignore the reality of this awful place — we need that knowledge so we can be filled with compassion for the lost.
If you need an honest wake-up call about the reality of hell, then I encourage you to read my article this month. I want to make it clear just how horrible this place is, but I also want to encourage you that no one has to end up there — we have a solution!
