Nehemiah started out his rebuilding mission by recognizing God's GREATNESS. His sentiment: Nothing is impossible with God! Nothing!

There is always a sacrifice to see God's purposes established through our lives. We can't ultimately be committed to our own comfort as the highest goal.

When God's people got weary, discouraged, and overwhelmed rebuilding the wall, they lifted up each other's arms.

Nehemiah probably never anticipated where the enemies of his work would come. Yet, at every point of his smallest progress, the enemies would emerge to try and scuttle God’s work. Recognize it and give it no place.

Nehemiah's first response upon hearing of the brokenness of his city and people was to turn to God and deeply repent for their sin. God then powerfully heard him and responded with His incredible grace!

We serve a God who can REBUILD broken places and situations. Nehemiah 6:15-16
