Ace pugilists Nikhat Zareen (50kg), Lovlina Borgohain (75kg), Nitu (48 kg) and Saweety Boora (75-81 kg) won golds in their respective categories. 12 Indian boxers were in action in this global competition out of which 8 entered the semi-final and four progressed to the final.
BPCL has long history of supporting women in sports & partnering with this tournament was part of that mission. To applaud the Indian contingent in finals, was Kani Amudhan, Executive Director, BPCL, alongwith other officials.

Very happy to hand over the prizes to the champions at 2nd Sonbhadra PSPB Archery Competition. 226 players including 74 girls participated in the championship from across 34 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Prizes worth ₹5,76,000 were distributed.

The participants gave voice to various themes ranging from child abuse, women empowerment, women’s safety and many more, with decoration of their cars and wearing creative costumes.
Four teams from BPCL promoted ‘UFill’ a digital customer experience which delivers BPCL’s promise of ensuring that our customers have complete control over Time, Technology and Transparency as part of their fuelling experience.
All teams were stopped at Fuel Stations in Padga (in Panvel), Shahapur (in Thane) and Igatpuri (in Nasik) for the refuelling pit-spot.
Soni Sharma, Shital Jiwane ranked the sixth position and Rutuja Kesharwani was felicitated for being the youngest rally driver.
The rally was flag-off by PS Ravi, Executive Director Incharge (Retail), BPCL along with Vivek Phansalkar, Commissioner of Police, Mumbai; Pravin Padwal, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Greater Mumbai; and Anuj Kathuria, President (India), JK Tyre & Industries.
Senior officials from BPCL, including Dinabandhu Mandal, ED (Logistics) Retail, Subhankar Sen, CGM (Retail Initiative), S. Abbas Akhtar, CGM (PR & Brand), Akshay Wadhwa, Head Retail (West), Rajeev Jaiswal, CGM (Strategy), were present at the flag off.
