After visiting Miami Correctional Facility in Indiana and demanding answers from ICE, I held a Report to the Community to share what we have learned about the conditions inside. 

ICE confirmed nearly 800 failures to deliver medication adding to this facility's already troubling record of mistreatment and failure to meet legal standards. The people of Indiana deserve transparency and accountability. ICE detention at Miami Correctional Facility must end.

63 years ago today, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders brought thousands together for the March on Washington to demand freedom and economic opportunity for African Americans.

Today, as voting rights are under attack, we find ourselves fighting for those same promises. We must keep fighting until those promises become reality for all Americans.
