Millersburg has its post office back after the 2022 fire.

With no residential mail delivery, the post office in the center of town is how folks get their mail, see their neighbors and stay connected.

It took years of calls and persistence from local advocates and my office, but none of us quit. We celebrated at the ribbon cutting today with Mayor Hopkins, Community Ventures and @USPS. Congratulations Millersburg!

Calling all students interested in serving our country and learn more about the opportunities available through our nation’s United States Service Academies.

Huge win for @RJCormanRR, a great Kentucky company. We secured over $43M to improve the transportation of goods in our region.

I strongly supported this funding through a letter of support to DOT and personally brought @SecDuffy to Kentucky earlier this year to discuss our regional transportation needs. Congratulations to RJ Corman Railroad Group!

I’m fighting to unleash American energy production, lower diesel fuel costs, and create jobs.

In the meantime, USDA has announced new assistance to help farmers offset diesel fuel costs.

Kentucky farmers can learn more about this program in my full letter below. ⬇️

No law-abiding American should be debanked for their beliefs.

Today, I joined @USComptroller and leaders from coal, firearms, and faith-based organizations to expose politically motivated debanking brought on by Obama/Biden financial regulators and fight to end it.

We need to save Kentucky’s hemp industry and protect the farmers who built it. I’m leading the charge to establish clear rules of the road, protect consumers, and keep hemp products out of the hands of children.

Thank you to the Kentucky Heritage Hemp Company for hosting us today for an important conversation about the future of this industry.

[Congressman Andy Barr @RepAndyBarr]

Great to be with the @jessaminechambr today. Central Kentucky is primed for growth. I’ll continue fighting to keep taxes low, boost manufacturing, and reduce DC regulations that hold our businesses back.

[Congressman Andy Barr @RepAndyBarr]

Thank you to the Kentucky District Export Council for meeting on the priorities shaping Kentucky’s economic future. From trade and manufacturing to U.S. investment, we need to strengthen Kentucky businesses through opening markets to maintain America’s economic dominance.

[Congressman Andy Barr @RepAndyBarr]

Great to speak with the @KentuckyCoal! Coal keeps the lights on in Kentucky, producing over 60% of electricity in our Commonwealth. I’ll keep fighting to unleash coal to create jobs, lower costs, and power us into the future!

[Congressman Andy Barr @RepAndyBarr]

Major win for our Central Kentucky Fire Departments. I’m announcing a $190,476 FEMA grant for fire departments serving Versailles, Anderson County, and Frankfort to purchase a new mobile cascade trailer. This will allow firefighters to refill their breathing packs while on calls.

I’ll always fight to protect our firefighters so that they can protect us!

Big win for Kentucky and American coal!

China will import at least 10 million metric tons of U.S. coal in 2027 and 2028. I led the push with the WH to prioritize U.S. coal exports with China.

More coal means more jobs and more investment in Kentucky. I’ll always fight for Kentucky coal! https://t.co/xGV1bVPoXd

Thank you to @SecDuffy for bringing common sense back to America’s fuel economy standards.

Fuel efficiency naturally improves as technology advances. The Biden Administration’s fuel economy targets ignored market realities, raised costs, and created uncertainty for American manufacturers and consumers.

Congratulations to my friend Jim Gagliano on his retirement after more than two decades of service to @jockeyclub

Jim has been a tremendous advocate for Thoroughbred racing and has dedicated his career to strengthening the sport that means so much to Kentucky. I’m grateful for his years of leadership and friendship, and I wish him and his family all the best in this next chapter.

Big day for the Millers Creek Fire Rescue in Estill County. Proud to announce a $160,180 federal grant to replace all the SCBA breathing packs our firefighters use on calls.

We have to protect our first responders so that they can protect us! https://t.co/o82px8h2wT

Great to be with @DC_Reporter @MatthewFoldi this week to talk bourbon and financial services with @EPC_Updates Executive Chairman Richard Hunt. Appreciate @DistilledSpirit hosting us for a special night.

This week’s summit between President Trump and General Secretary Xi represents an important opportunity to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for providing Iran with satellite data it used to target the American military in the Middle East, buying Iranian oil and selling semiconductors used in Iranian weapons. It also represents an opportunity to reinforce deterrence in the Western Pacific by standing by the $11.1 billion in arms sales to Taiwan announced by the Trump Administration in 2025 and not backing off the additional $14 billion in arms sales to Taiwan presently under consideration.

Thank you to @LexKYFire Chief Jason Wells for his career of service to our city. I know the brave men and women of the Lexington Fire Department will carry on Chief Wells’ commitment to protecting and serving our community. https://t.co/Ayr9Q7fmjc
