Rep Andy Biggs

Representing Arizona's Fighting Fifth. Member of the @JudiciaryGOP and @GOPoversight committees.

We just reached a milestone for my time in Congress - 5,000 completed constituent cases!

This marker shows how intentional and effective my office has been throughout my five terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.

If you have an issue with a federal agency, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office for assistance. Someone from my team will be in touch shortly.

Thank you to the men and women of Arizona's Fifth Congressional District for the trust you have bestowed on me and my team to serve you in Congress. We have never taken this trust for granted.

My prayers are with the family and friends of Johnny Garcia, who died in Guam earlier this month while serving America in the U.S. Air Force. I'm grateful for his young life of service and hope his loved ones are able to cherish memories together. https://t.co/6UHSTJiZmx

The previous administration authored a humanitarian catastrophe of historic proportions, allowing countless children to be trafficked across the border and lost into the interior of our nation.

Children....

Thankfully, this administration is laser focused on finding those children and ensuring that others do not suffer similar fates.

[The White House @WhiteHouse]

President Donald J. Trump is tracking down hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied migrant children who entered the U.S. during the Biden Administration.

We should be looking at every responsible avenue to expand domestic production, unleash American industry, and ensure our military has a reliable supply of the resources necessary to defend our citizens and freedoms.

That's why I recently urged the Department of War to identify opportunities to expand domestic copper mining, processing, refining, and recycling on the approximately 3.12 million acres of defense land under its management in Arizona.

All Americans have a stake in helping the government stop fraud, waste, and abuse. It's your money; you should demand nothing less than public servants wisely stewarding every penny.

I call on all Arizona officials to join the federal government in its quest to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse. This is not a partisan issue, and it's critical to our future prosperity and security as a nation.

[CBS News @CBSNews]

President Trump announced a new federal fraud whistleblower incentive program that he says will pay Americans, including journalists, a 1% commission for reporting fraud and corruption involving taxpayer dollars.

"If you turn somebody in and you, let's say, report, and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%. It's a lot of money," Trump said.

Thank you to all who are honoring the memory of Christian Lyle Sage through this event. Please do not ever drink and drive. It's not worth the slightest risk to someone's life or livelihood. https://t.co/I8aFNcLdzb

My prayers are with the family members and friends of Tech. Sgt. Ian Patterson, who tragically passed away this past weekend in an accident at a college football game in Texas. May God comfort his loved ones and watch over the men and women who serve our nation in uniform. https://t.co/0fdEh4UZdc

Good luck to the Suns this season! We'll be watching and cheering on the guys every game. The Valley sure could use an exciting winter and spring on the hardcourt.

Please stay safe this week with the expected inclement weather around the state. We're praying for the first responders who will be the first lines of defense in our communities.

In one of their more savory stops in the East Valley, Team Biggs recently took the opportunity to tour Pied Piper Bakery in Mesa. Thanks for welcoming my staff and all your contributions to the community.

When Republicans disagree with the political opposition, we take our arguments to the hearts and minds of the American people.

When members of the radical left disagree with their political opponents, they often threaten, harass, and persecute them.

Tragically, the recent statement from U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin is not an outlier or a misstatement. Rather, it embodies what we have seen and experienced from the radical left - especially over the past decade. This rhetoric, and the will to make it a frightening reality, flies in the face of how our country's founders established our constitutional republic—the shining city on a hill.

These threats and subsequent actions must end. Our nation cannot stand with one party resorting to such tactics. For the sake and future of our great country, let's agree to disagree, remembering that we are all Americans who want what's best for our children and grandchildren.

ON UCHICAGO CAMPUS: U.S. Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin hopes planned political prosecutions of republican leaders will scare young conservatives from getting involved in politics.

Thank you to the law enforcement agents who worked around the clock to hold these gang members accountable for their dangerous actions in the East Valley this past weekend. We appreciate your diligent efforts and pray for your safety each day. https://t.co/rdE8PX3Hyn

I'm urging the Department of War to identify opportunities to expand domestic copper mining, processing, refining, and recycling on the approximately 3.12 million acres of defense land under its management in Arizona.

Arizona already leads in copper production, and we have a tremendous opportunity to build on that strength.

[Rep Andy Biggs @RepAndyBiggsAZ]

I'm taking action to require states to strengthen their efforts to identify and combat fraud, waste, and abuse in their Medicaid programs.

Government officials have a responsibility to be good stewards of taxpayer dollars and ensure that Americans’ hard-earned money is spent appropriately and protected from fraud. Unfortunately, under the current state administration, Arizona has been an unwilling participant in the critical effort to hold bad actors accountable and root out fraud wherever it exists.

It's time to reverse this dereliction of duty.

Last week, I joined EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin in Arizona, where he announced a major development regarding air quality regulations in Maricopa County.

The announcement is welcome news for those of us who understand that protecting our environment and promoting economic growth are not mutually exclusive. We can pursue responsible environmental stewardship without crushing businesses and families in one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation. https://t.co/wKajHExZpZ

Arizona's increasing overdose death rate is completely unacceptable and must be corrected by our state officials. I've been working with White House Drug Czar @SaraCarterDC to bring awareness to this crisis and work on solutions to save lives. It's time to get serious in Arizona about the number of people succumbing to fatal drug overdoses.

Team Biggs had the opportunity to tour Mesa Gateway Airport this week - one of the crown jewels of Arizona's Fifth Congressional District. The leaders of this airport continue to do an incredible job in positioning their site for bigger and better things.

Good news for hardworking Americans seeking relief at the grocery store.

I was pleased to help position Arizona as a national leader in New World screwworm prevention by working with Secretary Rollins and USDA officials to highlight the state's infrastructure, expertise, and cross border partnerships that support robust livestock inspections and protect the nation's livestock industry. https://t.co/5XcVhUYs88

[Secretary Brooke Rollins @SecRollins]

Beef prices just saw their BIGGEST monthly drop since 2024! 🥩🇺🇸

That marks THREE consecutive months of declining beef prices — welcome progress for American families at the grocery store.

Under @POTUS, we’re fighting to lower grocery costs, rebuild America’s cattle herd, strengthen domestic beef production, and put American ranchers FIRST.

More work ahead, but we’re moving in the right direction!

Today would have been this patriot's 33rd birthday. We miss his leadership and wisdom every single day. Thank you, Charlie, for a life so beautifully spent here on earth. We will never stop fighting for the America you so deeply believed in throughout your entire life.

My prayers are with Pope Leo and those who are assisting with his recovery from surgery. We hope he will beat cancer and return to full health as quickly as possible.

[Vatican News @VaticanNews]

Dr. Luigi Carbone and Professor Stefano Margaritora have provided the following update on the Pope’s postoperative recovery:

This morning, the Holy Father underwent the blood tests and chest X-ray scheduled after surgery. The results confirm that his postoperative recovery is progressing normally: the values are within the expected range for the type of operation performed.

The Holy Father has undergone respiratory physiotherapy and has begun walking around his room. He has resumed eating normally and had breakfast and lunch.

His recovery is proceeding as expected.
