6th-generation Georgian proudly representing the incredible people of Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District

Heading to Troup County today, which just received a $560 million investment from Hyundai Transys to expand its manufacturing capabilities in West Point.

320 jobs will be created in Troup County because of pro-growth economic policies.

As your Congressman, I’m proud to have passed the largest tax cut in American history and to have repealed costly, job-killing regulations imposed by Joe Biden’s Administration.

Georgia has been the #1 State for Business for 13 straight years. Let’s make it 14!

This morning, I reported to jury duty!

Jury service is a civic responsibility and a powerful reminder of the virtue of our system of justice.

Enshrined in our Constitution, the right to a trial by a jury of our peers is a core pillar of the rule of law our Founders established.

Thank you to the dedicated civil servants and the Clerks of Courts across our Congressional District for so honorably serving our communities!

The 2026 IFCPF Cerebral Palsy World Cup kicked off today at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayette County!

Our U.S. Men’s Cerebral Palsy team defeated Canada, 7-0, in the opening match.

I was honored to greet the players, officials, and supporters who traveled from across the world to our part of Georgia, and I am especially proud of Harris County native Jacob Crumbley, a starter for our national team, for his incredible performance.

I hope this tournament inspires every American with cerebral palsy and the families and caregivers who support them!

Yesterday, I visited the incredible doctors, nurses, and healthcare administrators at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare in Columbus.  Since opening its doors in 1950, St. Francis has been a cornerstone of the Chattahoochee Valley, with more than 2,500 associates and 300 physicians providing critical care to families across West Georgia.

St. Francis is home to the only open-heart surgery program in Columbus, and the Chattahoochee Valley is very proud of its distinction as the first Purple Heart Hospital in Georgia.  I am honored to represent St. Francis and the incredible people of Columbus in Congress, and I look forward to continuing our partnership to improve the lives of families across our Congressional District.

Thank you to Bill Lee and the St. Francis team for inviting me!

Today, Coweta County’s oldest veteran, Harvey Wortham, celebrates his 98th birthday!

Last month, I honored Harvey Wortham’s service and wished him a Happy Birthday from the Floor of the United States House of Representatives.

A lifelong resident of Coweta County, Mr. Wortham enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 and served in Mannheim, Germany, before being honorably discharged as a Specialist Third Class.

He returned home to Coweta County, where he and his beloved late wife of 63 years, Betty, raised three daughters and were blessed with five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Happy 98th birthday, Specialist Wortham, and thank you for your service to our Country!

Yesterday, I was honored to visit LaGrange College to deliver an initial $1.88 million federal investment in STEM education and workforce development at LaGrange College.  This funding will grow the Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree to prepare students for skills-based careers across our part of Georgia.

Earlier this year, I brought the U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to our Congressional District to discuss the need for additional investment in workforce development, and I am grateful for her support of LaGrange College’s 21st Century Workforce Readiness Program.

Thank you to Dr. Susanna L. Baxter for your partnership, and thank you to Coach Wes Dodson for inviting me to visit your football team!

I am honored to welcome my friend, Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler, to Harris County — the 10th visit to our district by a Member of President Trump’s Cabinet over the past two years.

For 13 straight years, Georgia has been the #1 State in the country for business, and I am proud to extend that economic winning streak by passing the largest tax cut in American history, eliminating job-killing regulations, and providing small businesses with quicker access to capital.

As Chairman of the Small Business Subcommittee on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Workforce Development, I am grateful for our partnership with Administrator Loeffler, a champion for our state and a leader for our country.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve hosted leaders from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce, and the the Douglas County Chamber to discuss economic priorities and opportunities for investment in our Congressional District.

For 13 straight years, Georgia has been ranked as the #1 State for Business, and the chambers of commerce across our state are the local engines driving record-breaking innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

Congratulations @RepBrianJack for scoring a 100% on the American Energy Scorecard! Thank you for being a champion for American energy! https://t.co/W9CTvPi9P4

After years of bureaucratic backlogs and paperwork errors, I am proud to deliver the Soldier’s Medal to my constituent, Charles “Russ” Berry, a former Specialist in the United States Army.

Specialist Berry honorably served our nation and earned this distinguished recognition for his bravery and heroism.  Yet, because of clerical errors, he was unable to receive the Soldier’s Medal he previously earned.

My office worked closely with Specialist Berry’s wonderful family, Lieutenant Colonel James Wright, and the United States Army’s legislative liaisons to correct the record and ensure this long-overdue honor was delivered.

May Specialist Berry’s selfless service be an example for Georgians across our Congressional District!

Earlier this week, I honored the LaGrange College Panthers on the Floor of the United States House of Representatives for their second consecutive victory in the Clash of Highway 29!

Congratulations to the Panthers, led by Coach Wes Dodson, QB Henry Brodnax, and DB Messiah Scandrett on a 31-7 win against the Point University Skyhawks, continuing their winning streak in Georgia’s newest college football rivalry.

Today, as the Senate deliberates consideration of the landmark Clarity Act, I convened a bipartisan hearing entitled ‘Main Street Meets Crypto: What Digital Assets Mean for Small Businesses.’

Our hearing examined opportunities to lower costs for small businesses, reduce payment friction for entrepreneurs, and utilize this emerging technology to benefit Main Street across America.

Thank you to our witnesses for your insightful testimony before our Subcommittee today!

Today, I commemorated the fifth annual Tunnel to Towers William “Billy” Kelly Memorial Golf Classic from the Floor of the United States House of Representatives.

Founded by Robyn Walensky, a former news reporter and survivor of September 11, and her husband, Greg, this special Peachtree City tradition honors retired NYPD Officer William “Billy” Kelly, who deployed to Ground Zero and later passed away from a September 11-related cancer.

This year’s tournament also honored the life of fallen Carrollton Police Officer Dustin Krish, whose watch ended on June 9.

May the heroism of Officer Kelly and Officer Krish continue to inspire us and generations of Americans to come.

Earlier this month, our Congressional District lost a hero when Sergeant Chris Fisher of the Warm Springs Police Department was killed in the line of duty.

Today, I honored his life and legacy from the Floor of the United States House of Representatives.

Sergeant Fisher wore many uniforms throughout his life, as a soldier in the United States Army and as a law enforcement officer across our Congressional District.

He was a loving husband to Carly, and a caring father to his two young children.

May God continue to comfort the Fisher family and all those mourning this painful loss.

On Thursday night, I was honored to address the historic Convention in Dallas.

On Friday night, I was in Carrollton, hosting a tailgate under the lights for a home game of the best football team in the state: the undefeated, nationally-ranked Carrollton High School Trojans.

Led by one of the most talented offenses in the country, the Carrollton Trojans defeated Hapeville Charter, 63-7.

Thank you to the Trojan community for welcoming us to Grisham Stadium!

Today, I was honored to address hundreds of sportsmen from across our Congressional District at the annual Dinner and Doves lunch in Whitesburg.

Dinner and Doves is an enduring Georgia tradition that celebrates our agricultural heritage, brings neighbors and friends together, and kicks off the start of dove season with fellowship and good Southern food.

Thank you to the entire NG Turf team for hosting another record-breaking event!
