After securing $850,000 in federal funding to support the project, I was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting for @MCCLongview’s newly revamped Automotive Institute!

This new facility will help ensure students have access to the skills and training needed to succeed in good-paying, in-demand careers.

And by strengthening our region’s talent pipeline and supporting local employers seeking highly skilled technicians, this investment will create pathways to economic mobility, bolster our workforce, and help keep the Kansas City region competitive in a rapidly changing economy.
