Rep. Michelle Fischbach

Proudly representing Minnesota's 7th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Serving on @WaysandMeansGOP and @RulesReps

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

I am honored to receive an A+ score from Concerned Women for America. I will always stand up for life at every stage and for policies that support mothers, families, and children across Minnesota.

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

Minnesota livestock producers should be allowed to protect their herds from wolf predation.

Thank you, @USDA, for taking action and putting our agriculture community first. It’s time for Governor Walz and state leaders to review Minnesota’s wolf management policies and ensure our ranchers can defend their livelihoods.

[Secretary Brooke Rollins @SecRollins]

For too long, American ranchers have watched wolves kill their livestock, threaten their livelihoods, and devastate family operations built over generations.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Under @POTUS, we are putting RANCHERS FIRST. 🇺🇸

We are working directly with states to strengthen wolf management, expand protections for livestock, and ensure ranchers have the tools they need to defend their herds — including lethal removal when authorized by law.

Our ranchers deserve the right to defend their herds and the livelihoods they have worked generations to build.

We will ALWAYS stand with the American rancher.

Thank you, @POTUS, for providing much-needed assistance for our farmers.

[Dept. of Agriculture @USDA]

Harvest relief for America’s farmers.

Today, @POTUS and @SecRollins announced the Harvest Fuel Relief Program — making $8 BILLION available for one-time payments to farmers facing higher costs and market disruptions.

Here’s what that means:

➡️ Payments to help cover a portion of estimated losses for the 2026 crop year.

➡️ Payment amounts based on planted acres, production costs, crop yields, and prices.

➡️ Row crop payment rates announced in November, with details for other eligible commodities to follow.

➡️ Application will be available online using a https://t.co/97Hz4rfseK account that is connected to USDA.

Proud to join @VP in protecting hardworking Americans from fraud!

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

Happy National Manufacturing Month!

After 4 years of decline under Democrats, Republicans' America First policies are reviving our domestic industry, with over 72,000 new manufacturing jobs created this year!

[House Budget GOP @HouseBudgetGOP]

Democrats are the party of high taxes, open borders, and other failed socialist policies. The Democratic Socialists of America are doubling down on higher taxes, higher inflation, higher debt, and lower wages—a recipe for economic and fiscal disaster and would remove any chance of America remaining the preeminent economic power in the world.

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

The EPA must uphold its commitment to American-grown energy and give our farmers and biofuel producers the market certainty they deserve!

[Rep. Adrian Smith @RepAdrianSmith]

Today, I led a letter with @RepNikkiB and 37 colleagues urging @EPALeeZeldin and @SecretaryWright to build on the admin’s historic support for American biofuels by issuing a supplemental rule that provides much-needed certainty for biofuel producers and consumers.

[Tom Emmer @GOPMajorityWhip]

Democrat leadership is ruining our great state of Minnesota.

Tim Walz, Peggy Flanagan, and Keith Ellison have put our people in danger, driven business and families out of state, allowed $9 billion in fraud to be stolen by Somali fraudsters, and have given our state one of the worst reputations in the entire country.

Perfectly said by @POTUS, thank you for your support of the good people of Minnesota.

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

Thank you, @WHFraudTF, for uncovering and prosecuting fraud!

[Vice President JD Vance @VP]

The @WHFraudTF is doing an amazing job!

Proud to join my Minnesota colleagues in urging the USDA to help our turkey growers!

[Congressman Brad Finstad @RepFinstad]

Avian metapneumovirus (aMPV) has severely impacted Minnesota turkey flocks. Minnesota is the top turkey-producing state in the nation, which is why I led my fellow members of our Minnesota Congressional Delegation in sending a letter to @SecRollins urging the administration to take meaningful steps to address the significant losses our turkey growers have experienced. ⬇️

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

I joined the Minnesota Republican congressional delegation in sending a letter to Governor Walz and Secretary of State Simon following the DOJ's indictment of ten individuals for voter fraud.

We must restore the public's faith in Minnesota's elections!

I had the opportunity to meet directly with Holdingford city officials to discuss their water and wastewater infrastructure needs and recovery efforts following last year's mill fire.
I appreciated hearing directly from city officials about their priorities and discussing ways to support the community, including expanding senior housing. Rural communities deserve a voice, and I’ll continue working to address the issues that matter most to them.

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

I am heartbroken by the loss of Deputy Katherine Frank. Raised in Western Minnesota, Katherine carried our values with her and dedicated her life to protecting others.

My thoughts and prayers are with Katherine’s family, friends, and fellow officers as they grieve her loss. We are grateful for Katherine’s service and sacrifice, and we will keep her loved ones in our prayers during this difficult time.

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

I met with Rotochopper in St. Martin to discuss their continued growth, workforce development, and the challenges they and many other manufacturers are facing.
We discussed workforce development, their partnership with a local technical college, and the importance of strong trade agreements to support American manufacturers.

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

Today’s announcement from @epaleezeldin is great news for American's biofuel producers and farmers.

This proposal will provide our farmers with the market certainty they deserve, increase American energy independence, and lower costs at the pump for American families.

[U.S. EPA @EPA]

In a move that will provide predictable and stable markets for farmers, we are proposing 100% REALLOCATION for the additional 2025 Small Refinery Exemption volumes for the amount that exceeded estimates in the “Set 2” Rule. This proposal will strengthen the Renewable Fuel Standard program, open markets for farmers, and grow economic potential for rural communities. Administrator Zeldin just announced this breaking news in Iowa. https://t.co/jgKxEBmUKH

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

Governor Walz and Minnesota Democrats would rather play politics than help lower costs for Minnesota farmers and families.

President Trump took action to lower diesel costs, but instead of helping Minnesotans, Walz refused the relief and is threatening penalties for those who use lower-cost red dye diesel. Meanwhile, North Dakota and other neighboring states have stepped up to help their farmers and truckers.

This decision is unacceptable. Our farmers are working around the clock to bring in this year’s harvest, and our truckers are keeping goods moving across the country. Forcing them to pay more for fuel drives up transportation costs, and Minnesota families will ultimately pay the price at the grocery store.

I led Minnesota’s Republican congressional delegation in calling on Walz to follow Trump and other Governors to put Minnesota families ahead of partisan politics.

Congratulations to Dr. David P. Jones on being inaugurated as the 11th President of Southwest Minnesota State University!

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

I met with Farmward Cooperative leadership in Springfield to discuss issues impacting Minnesota farmers, including rising costs, agricultural infrastructure, and eligibility for the 45Z tax credit.

I fought to amend and extend the 45Z tax credit in the One Big Beautiful Bill to empower our farmers, and will continue working to ensure that our farmers see the benefits!

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

It was a great morning in Redwood Falls touring the Bayer facility and sitting down with employees for a town hall. I always appreciate hearing directly from Minnesotans about their work, their communities, and the issues that matter most to them.

Thanks to the Bayer team for having me!

[Rep. Michelle Fischbach @RepFischbach]

President Trump’s executive order is a great first step toward delivering relief for farmers, but we must continue working toward solutions that provide lasting relief for our ag community.

[The White House @WhiteHouse]

JUST NOW: President Donald J. Trump signs an Executive Order to temporarily allow off-road “dyed” diesel for highway use, lowering costs for Americans.

This action will put money directly BACK in the pockets of American farmers, truckers, & workers. 🇺🇸
