Property taxes are a major affordability issue in Ohio. Last week I joined my joint sponsor Rep. Thomas to testify on HB 608. This bill brings much-needed transparency and accessibility to the tax system. Making Ohio an affordable place to work and live remains my top priority.
Balcony solar is safe, cheap & perfect for renters. Thank you Rep. Rader for letting me join you in demoing a unit at the statehouse to show why HB 755 is needed to lower energy bills and reduce strain on the grid. Shoutout to @SolarNeighbors for bringing in a unit for us to use.
Honored to join Brooklyn Superintendent Theodore Caleris on his podcast, Hurricane Watch. I had a wonderful time touring the district and discussing critical issues like Ohio school funding & consolidation. Listen Here: https://t.co/XuXfkrq58U
Visitors to Great Northern Mall deserve a safe, comfortable environment to shop, work, and play. I’m proud to support state dollars for a dedicated police officer at the mall. I remain committed to bringing funds back to our communities to reduce crime.
I’m excited to officially introduce HB 770, which brings transparency and accountability to campaign finance. The bill allows candidates to refund donations or redirect them to charity through a clear, public process so that voters can be informed.
Funding for schools, parks, and mental health facilities should be bipartisan, but an unrelated provision threatening SNAP food assistance benefits will force layoffs, drive up wait times, and harm the very communities these programs are meant to serve.
Capital reappropriation bills typically pass without controversy but an amendment harming SNAP funding poisoned our bipartisan infrastructure bill. I trust the Senate will correct this and ensure all Ohioans, regardless of political games, are treated fairly when they need help.
My new legislation authorizes campaign donation refunds to ensure every Ohioan can easily see how funds are handled. Current restrictions create unnecessary barriers for the public. Full press release linked here: https://t.co/4FcQUCrecw

I am introducing a bill that would make it legal for you to have small-scale solar at your apartment complex. Thank you Rep Rader, for allowing me to join you on this bill.
I got muzzled today for offering an amendment to help Gold Star widows, provide tax breaks for baby sleep supplies, and end SNAP fraud, all instead of a tax cut for the ultra-wealthy bankers on Wall Street.
I'm honored to be named an Ohio Energy Champion by the Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund. This award reflects our shared commitment to building a more reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy future for all Ohioans.
The PUCO just released new statewide reliability reporting rules, thanks to our work passing HB 15. These standards help us pinpoint where our grid needs work and hold utilities accountable. PUCO order: https://t.co/yip18v4uPL
The City of Brooklyn reopened the Exterior Home Repair Grant Program for 2026. To qualify, the property must be the owner’s primary residence, and the homeowner must be current on property and city taxes. More information available here: https://t.co/1dLhcnkxmd
I'm proud to co-sponsor HB 493, introduced by Reps. Troy and D. Thomas. Eliminating the sale of tax debt to outside parties is just one of the ways we can increase the public’s trust in our property tax system and ensure the process is as transparent as possible.
