Proudly representing Colorado’s 4th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Member of the House Science, Space, and Tech Committee, and Budget Committee.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve the people of Colorado’s 4th District. Today, I leave office, confident that our district and our nation are in good hands.
Thank you!!
Happy New Year!
In 2025, I am praying that 2025 is Colorado’s best year yet, and that our state and our families are blessed with prosperity and success.
My prayers and condolences go out to the entire Carter family. Former President Jimmy Carter came from humble beginnings and rose to become President of the United States. He was a dedicated civil servant, who strove to do what he thought was right. May he rest in peace.
There are devastating consequences of weak borders. President Trump has a mandate from the American people to make our nation safe again, and I have great confidence that we can make it happen.
NEW: Per DHS sources, the suspect accused of burning a woman to death on a NYC subway is a Guatemalan illegal alien who was previously deported by the Trump administration and re-entered the U.S. illegally as a gotaway at an unknown time & location. I’m told he was arrested by Border Patrol on 6/1/2018 after he crossed illegally into Arizona, and he was deported just days later on 6/7/2018. DHS has no record of him entering the U.S. after that, meaning he snuck back into the U.S. without any encounter with Border Patrol or CBP - but it’s unknown where and when that happened.
1) This evening, in my final vote representing Colorado’s 4th District, I voted against the proposed CR. While I support doing everything we can to help farmers and aid those impacted by recent hurricanes, I cannot accept a bill that does nothing to address our $36 trillion debt.
2) Americans deserve a Congress that takes spending seriously and doesn't throw away taxpayer dollars - I'm hopeful that President Trump and the 119th Congress are successful at reining in this fiscal disaster.
I cannot support a continuing resolution that does not consider our nation's growing $36 trillion debt and removes the debt ceiling, creating an open check book for Congress to spend more money it already doesn't have.
My statement on the CR:
"Congress is not focused on doing the right things for the American people when it comes to watching the purse of the American people; make sure that there's minimal fraud, waste and abuse."

@RepArrington has been a dear friend and ally to me since my first day in Congress. He is the embodiment of statesman and I am proud to have worked alongside him on the @housebudgetGOP.
Thank you for everything Jodey!
Tonight, with a full heart and gratitude to the people who elected me, my family, and my staff, I bid farewell to the United States House of Representatives.
When President Biden abandoned rational border security he opened the gates for Tren de Aragua to enter into the U.S.
Colorado's state and local officials would never have had to confront these issues if the federal government had done its job.
#BREAKING: 16 people taken into custody at the Edge of Lowry apartments after an armed home invasion and kidnapping are suspected of being Tren de Aragua members, ICE officials say.

The same Congress which has passed 34 continuing resolutions in the past 10 years -instead creating passable appropriations bills- is now asking for a pay raise.
For what? Has Congress earned a pay raise?
