Team Sapp attended Women Build 2026 sponsored by Habitat for Humanity Clay.
We were able to help construct 2 new homes for families in need in Green Cove Springs!
Last session we were able to help secure $350,000 for the Rural Aviation STEM Program!
Happy to see it’s taking flight and already a success!
Congratulations to the first student to receive his pilot’s license and all of Putnam County Students that will benefit from this program!
Team Sapp attended the Clay High School Appreciation Breakfast, a morning dedicated to the stakeholders in the community who help the school thrive.
Great job Principal Jen Halter and Mr. Mitchell on all of your successes to make the school have a lasting impact for the students!
Today, I was privileged to talk with members of the legislature from the great state (and my home state) of Florida. Great folks, great discussion and good ideas from many friends. Thanks!
I had a great time attending the White House State Leadership Conference for Florida.
I even got to show off my (lack of) skills in the White House’s Bowling Alley!
The Florida State Guard aircraft remain on mission as wildfire activity continues to evolve across Florida, most recently in Clay and Putnam Counties. Our fixed wing and rotary-wing crews are actively covering wide sections of the state—mapping fire lines, confirming new flareups, and relaying real time photos, video, and GPS tagged intel to support ongoing ground and air suppression efforts. Close coordination with Air Traffic Control ensures our teams can stay ahead of rapidly changing conditions and help protect the communities in the path of these fires.
When Disaster Calls, We Answer.
