Working parents shouldn’t have to choose between taking their kid to the doctor or putting food on the table.

.@SenatorSlotkin is a patriot, who has sworn an oath to serve multiple times. She called out blatant corruption and she was right to do so.

It's unacceptable to use the justice system to threaten your political opponents. These continued attacks against her are dangerous, and they are offensive to the ideals we all hold as Americans. It needs to stop.

[Sen. Elissa Slotkin @SenatorSlotkin]

Just a few hours ago, President Trump said in the Oval Office that I should be tried in court because I dared to talk about the corruption coming out of the White House.

If I've learned one thing from this past year, it's that you have to push back. I'm not going to be intimidated out of standing up for the rule of law and the country that has given me everything.

Mid-Michigan families have had to pay $834 extra for gas because of the war in Iran. That number is even higher for anyone who drives a truck and relies on diesel.

It’s past time to stop the war and bring gas prices back down.

[Protect Our Care @ProtectOurCare]

“Every day we get calls into our office of people who can’t afford their health insurance, they can’t afford the services, they can’t afford their prescription drugs.”

@RepKMR in Flint on the $1 TRILLION Republicans cut from our health care. #SickOfIt

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

Health care costs are skyrocketing again because of bad policies from out-of-touch politicians. We’re fighting alongside @ProtectOurCare so working families don’t have to choose between seeing a doctor and putting food on the table.

Head Start ratios make sure teachers can do their jobs well and kids are safe. This Administration is trying to take that and a bunch of other commonsense standards away.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

Americans are sick and tired of insiders cashing in on public service. It’s time to crack down on politicians who care more about helping themselves than serving you.

We were proud to welcome the @USChamber to Grand Blanc. When we support entrepreneurs who are trying to start or run a business, we’re supporting the shops, restaurants, and companies that make our communities even stronger.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

This Administration is asking Head Start teachers to do more with less. This proposed overhaul will be disastrous for kids, teachers, and working parents. https://t.co/7FXctZrMDb

Parents today are working hard and still struggling to find affordable child care. We sat down at a child care facility in Fenton to talk about our bipartisan bill to cut red tape and lower costs for parents.

“If I were Pete Hegseth, I’d be worried. It’s certainly something that needs serious consideration, and I hear Democrats, yes, but I also hear some Republicans saying it as well. I think there’s a lot he needs to answer for.”

Maybe we should... stop?

Supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and job creators is one of the best things we can do to create lasting economic growth.

I was honored to receive the Advocate for American Business Award from the @USChamber yesterday in Grand Blanc. It was all the more special to receive it at Great Harvest Bread Company alongside our friends from the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce.

If we want to make it easier for businesses to grow, cutting red tape and standing up to some of the chaotic policies in Washington are great places to start.

The Coast Guard is finally restoring 24/7 rescue operations on the Saginaw Bay and Saginaw River. This will make mid-Michigan safer, and it wouldn’t have happened without our community coming together to raise our voices.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

We can’t let mountains of paperwork stop us from giving kids the care they need. We have a bipartisan bill to cut red tape and make sure more families can get affordable child care.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

Great news: The Saginaw River Coast Guard station will resume FULL operations in 2027! This means faster search-and-rescue operations and less strain on local law enforcement’s resources.

We’ve been pushing for this for over a year. Thank you to every Michigander who spoke up and helped make this happen.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

We had so much fun at the K?Onda! Festival in Saginaw this year. K? Onda! always does a great job bringing people together to celebrate Hispanic culture and heritage, anchored by some of the small businesses and organizations that make mid-Michigan so special.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

Parents deserve better than a broken child care system. We have a bipartisan bill to bring down costs and make things easier for families.

[Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet @RepKMR]

Farmers and truckers across Michigan are getting crushed by skyrocketing diesel prices. Those high prices then get passed on to everyone.

The war in Iran has to end before things get even worse.
