Today, HB26-1024 passed through second readings in the House. This bill extends Colorado’s Safe Haven window from 72 hours to 30 days, giving parents more time and support during an incredibly difficult moment. This is about compassion and saving lives.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸✨
From the bold declaration of 1776 to today, thank you for the enduring promise of liberty and opportunity. Here’s to freedom, fireworks, and many more chapters. God bless this great nation!

Today we celebrate 250 years of American freedom and the truths of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that our great nation was built upon.
Happy Independence Day!🇺🇸🇺🇸

The Supreme Court just protected women’s sports by affirming that biological sex matters for fair competition. Women’s categories exist to give female athletes a level playing field. This ruling ends the erasure of girls’ opportunities, podiums, and safety.

We are very pleased with the United States Supreme Court’s decision to protect women’s sports across the country. This decision established a new precedent moving forward, one that the Colorado House Republicans will take seriously in our continued fight for the rights of every female athlete in the great state of Colorado.
My heart aches for Colorado as wildfires continue spreading across the state. Firefighters lost their lives battling the blazes along the Utah-Colorado border. My deepest gratitude and prayers go out to their families and all the heroes risking everything on the front lines.
I was honored and awarded for my dedication and relentless fight in the Legislature to protect those who protect us. It’s a duty that I’m proud to carry out everyday. Holding the Blue Line🇺🇸
Freedom Festival was electric last night!
Congratulations to the legislators who were honored with Back the Blue Awards in recognition of their unwavering support for Colorado’s law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.
Thank you to @TheRMVoice for hosting a great event and celebrating those who stand with the men and women in blue.
I am proud to be featured in this El Paso Journal Op-Ed. I share my journey from the Navy to the Colorado House and why I was called to serve.

Yesterday marked Sine Die- the final gavel of this legislative session. It’s an honor to serve the people of Colorado and fight every day to protect their rights, freedoms, and future. Thank you Colorado for entrusting me with this responsibility. The work continues.
#hd16
Today marked the end of the 2026 legislative session.
Over the last 120 days, House Republicans fought every day to address the issues Coloradans care about most: affordability, public safety, bridging the rural-urban divide, and deregulating our state.
This session included important work to support rural communities, improve transparency, take violent criminals off the streets, and push for responsible budgeting.
While significant challenges remain, including Colorado’s ongoing structural deficit, our caucus remains committed to fighting for hardworking Coloradans across every corner of the state.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, testified, reached out, and stayed engaged throughout session.
.@RepKeltieHD16 just passed SB26-186 in Committee! This bill will make various updates to the language in the “Workers Compensation Act of Colorado” to align with modern practices.
"At it's core, this bill is a direct affront to the rights, choices and intelligence of the people of Colorado. We serve at the consent of the governed. Our job is not to out-maneuver the people, out-smart them or override their voice when it becomes inconvenient. That is exactly what this bill does." explains @RepKeltieHD16
🚨🚨🚨Democrats just limited debate on SB26-005 to ONE hour.
This bill creates a new cause of action in Colorado courts targeting federal immigration enforcement and anyone cooperating with it, opening the door to lawsuits against ICE officers and others assisting federal law enforcement.
"This bill is unenforceable unless you have the Ketchup Police... How absurd does that sound?"
"You say 'no kings,' then you act like kings..." explains @RepKeltieHD16
