The attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul is horrific. My prayers are with the Speaker and her family hoping for Paul Pelosi's full and speedy recovery. I am grateful to first responders for their care of Paul Pelosi and for preventing the attack from being worse.

Today, Vladimir Putin escalated his illegal war of aggression by attempting to annex sovereign Ukrainian territory based on flagrantly rigged Russia-run elections in these areas. He’s already committed numerous atrocities & caused the loss of 1,000s of innocent lives. 1/3

He has also caused food/energy prices to soar worldwide. Today I proudly voted to provide critical economic & security assistance to the Ukrainian people. Ukraine must have all the tools it needs to defend itself & to bring Russia to the negotiating table on fair terms. 2/3
