Big news in Conroe!
@HerthaMetals just broke ground on a new plant that will make critical high-purity iron right here in Texas, instead of relying on China.
That's a huge win for America's national security and for the future of Texas manufacturing.
Thank you to every veteran who came out to our Veterans Resource Fair in Willis.
If you weren't able to make it and need help, my office is one call away: (281) 305-7890.
It was my honor to join Hertha Metals as it broke ground on a $100 MILLION facility, which will create even more jobs in Texas. By 2028, the plant could supply 25% of the high-purity iron needed for rare-earth magnet production in the U.S., strengthening supply chains critical to our economy and national defense.
America is reclaiming its industrial might thanks to @POTUS and our great entrepreneurs! 🇺🇸
Power. Water. Internet.
The essentials for Texans, delivered by the hardworking team at MidSouth Electric Co-op.
Spent time with these folks in Montgomery talking about keeping it all running as our communities grow.
Three years ago today, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
We will never forget the lives taken that day, and we continue to pray for the families who still carry that loss.
Nothing beats being back with the Conroe Chamber.
Always a pleasure to spend time with the business owners and community leaders who make Montgomery County such a great place to live and work.
On National Manufacturing Day, Americans are BUILDING AGAIN with OVER 72,000 MANUFACTURING JOBS ADDED just this year thanks to @POTUS!
Manufacturing is pouring back into our country thanks to historic investments and @USDOL is focused on training and skilling Americans to fill these jobs in every factory and plant across our country.
The Manufacturing Renaissance in the Golden Age is HERE and President Trump is the MANUFACTURING PRESIDENT. 🇺🇸
🚨 Veterans — Mark Your Calendars: My office has a resource fair coming up that's designed just for you.

20 years ago, Navy SEAL Michael Monsoor threw himself on a grenade in Ramadi to save the men beside him.
He chose his teammates over himself.
Remembering a true American hero today.
Today, we remember Master at Arms 2nd Class (SEAL) Michael A. Monsoor, who was killed in action on September 29, 2006, in Iraq while saving the lives of his teammates.

The SAVES Act provides another tool in the toolbox for our vets when they return home.
It is a straightforward, bipartisan, and commonsense bill with a life-changing impact.
Service dogs have the ability to help veterans living with PTSD heal and thrive in their day-to-day lives.
The SAVES Act is included in H.R. 9237 to establish a multi-year program to help qualified nonprofits expand access to the number of highly trained service dogs available to veterans fighting back against PTSD.
Congratulations to @VenusAerospace on opening its new propulsion test stand at the Houston Spaceport.
The future of next-generation propulsion is being built right here in Texas.
This week, we pause to honor our Gold Star Families. These families carry the weight of unimaginable loss so that America can remain free and strong. Their loved ones gave everything in service to our nation. We will never forget their sacrifice.
Great @ConcordiaSummit panel redefining how we treat the brain — proactively building peak performance for our workforce, our warfighters, and our society in the age of AI.
@SECWAR “They’ve become dear friends and GREAT ADVOCATES for your company, for your state, but also for what we are doing at our department—@RepPfluger and @RepLuttrell."
They have had our backs SINCE DAY ONE.
Flood mitigation in the Houston region has remained a top priority, and the House passage of the Water Resources Development Act of 2026 represents meaningful progress toward that goal.
I appreciate @RepFletcher's continued partnership on this effort.
Another big win for Houston: yesterday, the House passed the 2026 Water Resources Development Act, which gets us one step closer to understanding how a single large underground tunnel could reduce flood risk around Addicks and Barker—a provision I was glad to work on with @RepLuttrell.

239 years later, the United States Constitution, the very foundation of our Republic, is an eternal reminder that all power throughout our land flows from WE THE PEOPLE.
The Army's decision to deactivate the ECABs, including the 158th Aviation Regiment in Conroe, Texas, is an unacceptable gamble with our nation's readiness and puts the future of hundreds of soldiers and civilians in doubt. This decision cuts critical air assault, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), and emergency response capabilities before a replacement is ready.
Our troops deserve better, and the communities that rely on these critical capabilities deserve better.
Congress is going to press forward to correct this mistake, restore these essential capabilities, and ensure our soldiers, their families, and our communities have the support and protection they deserve.
Our Army Reserve units are doing critical work and deserve certainty as they execute their missions.
Deactivating the ECABs before a replacement capability is set creates an unacceptable gap in our force structure and gambles with our nation’s readiness.
