2/3 of Texas is and has been impacted by a drought for the last year. Groundwater depletions along 1-35 are real. Fortune 500 companies in the lower Brazos basin have chose to expand in other states due to lack of firm water.Need to put 4 billion of surplus in water projects now!

Amazing that in 2022 we all watch the grid performance like our gas gauge on our car when we are on empty and the next gas station is 20 miles away.
We can do better than this Texas. Go back to a capacity market (AKA 1999 regulated market) and the issue will be resolved quickly.
