Thank you to Heidelberg Materials in Nazareth for inviting us to help commemorate the unveiling of a historical plaque honoring the former village of Dexter.
The plaque helps preserve the story of the families and workers who helped build this community and ensures their contributions will be remembered for generations to come. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible and preserve this important piece of local history.
When veterans return home, they deserve full support in their transition back into civilian life. Fortunately, we have incredible organizations like @ValorClinicF who are stepping up to serve veterans here in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.
In congress, we’re continuing to work alongside organizations like Valor to make sure that veterans in our community have the support they need. That includes funding veterans’ services, investing in mental health, and introducing legislation to help doctors identify early warning signs of suicide in veterans. Thank you to Valor and all those in our community who are working to make a difference for veterans and servicemembers.
Great catching up with Hector Soto, a DoorDash driver from the Lehigh Valley, while he was in Washington.
Last year, I joined Hector for a DoorDash ridealong and later welcomed him to a roundtable discussion with independent workers from across our region. Hector's story highlights why so many people choose independent work — flexibility, opportunity, and the ability to earn extra income on their own schedule.
I'll continue working to support policies that protect worker flexibility, expand access to portable benefits, and create more opportunities.
Had a great time at the first annual Latino Senior Expo in Lehigh County!
Our office works to help seniors throughout the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos every single day. If you or someone you know needs help with a federal matter — including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security — please don’t hesitate to contact our office.

Last week, the Energy and Commerce Committee passed a bipartisan package which included language from the Sunshine Protection Act — legislation I've co-sponsored to make Daylight Savings Time permanent. This would eliminate the need to change your clocks twice a year.
Should Congress enact this proposal? Take our survey: https://t.co/1hvmOSM2Kh
It was great to welcome students, teachers, and parents from Notre Dame High School in Bethlehem to Washington.
Following their Capitol tour, we discussed my work in Congress on behalf of the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos, and students had the opportunity to ask questions about government, public service, and the issues impacting our region. Thanks for visiting!
Kicked off our first Lunch with a Legislator event today by bringing together professionals and small business owners from the Latino community here in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. Thank you to everyone who joined this important conversation about housing affordability, public safety, representation, and more.

My staff member Zack was proud to attend the Eagle Scout Court of Honor recognizing Francis Charles Thomas and Aiden Arthur Dodson on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment and best wishes as you begin your next chapter!
Had the chance to join the Chamber of Mothers’ Maternal Health Power Breakfast at the Library of Congress and discuss ways we can better support moms and families. Supporting mothers has been a longstanding priority for me — from creating Pennsylvania’s first maternal mortality review committee as a State Representative to continuing bipartisan work in Congress focused on maternal health, mental health resources, and helping working families.
Thank you to @USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, @SecDuffy, and our guests from throughout the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos for joining us at Jaindl Farms for a Farm to Table Roundtable. Farming and freight go hand in hand — powering our local economy, feeding our family, and keeping us moving. That’s why we’re investing in the needs of our farmers and freight operators.

Thank you to everyone in our community who participated in Memorial Day events all throughout the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. Your recognition preserves the memory and meaning of the sacrifices made by servicemembers.
Today, we honor all those who gave their lives in service to our country. Thank you to the countless generations of Americans who wore the uniform, defended our country, and built a nation.
Enjoyed speaking with participants in the Anne B. Anstine Series about public service and my work in Washington. This program plays an important role in encouraging and preparing women across Pennsylvania to lead in government, politics, and their communities, and I appreciated the opportunity to engage with such thoughtful future leaders.
I work hard to find a Democratic co-lead on most pieces of legislation that I introduce. That’s not just because I’m interested in working together, it’s because I’m interested in getting stuff done. Bipartisan solutions are more likely to create lasting results, and that’s what I’m here to deliver.

Great joining the AHEPA Family and the Daughters of Penelope for Capitol Hill Day. As an Ahepan myself, it was especially great to be with a group dedicated to service, community, and ensuring important voices are heard on Capitol Hill.
Lyme Disease creates unique and underaddressed challenges for thousands of people throughout the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. That's why I appreciated the opportunity to speak with the Center for Lyme Action and hear directly from patients and advocates working to improve outcomes and raise awareness. I’m co-leading a bipartisan House resolution recognizing May as Lyme and Tick-borne Disease Awareness Month and will continue working to ensure patients and families affected by Lyme disease have the support they need.
