Sine Die! The 2024 Session is officially over.

We were able to pass several good bills this year, including one that reestablishes the Office of the State Fire Marshal (SB2085), and another that adds 44 new positions to the HDOA to help fight invasive species (HB2619).

On the other hand, many good bills failed to make it past the finish line, notably the Clean Elections bill for publicly funded elections (SB2381), and the various versions of Paid Family Leave that were introduced this year (e.g. SB2474).
