SB 513 because it’s about making government smarter and putting money back in people’s pockets. Instead of outdated systems, this bill updates how the handling of payroll-related revenue, can help lower electric costs and also support better retirement options for workers.
H.B. 5447 is about doing right by our children and our families. This bill strengthens Connecticut’s behavioral health system by improving coordination between agencies and making sure young people get the support they need when they need it.

I stood with Connecticut Tenants Union, fellow Legislators & some great Advocates to support for SB257 - Just Cause Bill. This bill aims to restrict no-fault evictions to provide a specific, legitimate reason to evict tenants who are in good standing. https://t.co/sfzyhIlNdE
I stood alongside fellow legislators, advocates from End Hunger Connecticut, School Meals for All CT, and many advocates to support the school breakfast proposal. Hopefully lunch will become part of this bill. HB5144

We’ve seen it in surpluses & growing revenues—so the question is no longer whether we can fix ECS, it’s whether we have the will to do it.
I stand fully committed to modernizing ECS, investing in our students, and making sure every child, no matter their zip code succeeds.
During Women’s History Month, I want to continue to thank all women. The following are a powerful group of women suggested to highlight whose impact continues to shape our world.

I strongly support a Connecticut Child Tax Credit. Our communities show up every day — working, paying taxes, & contributing to the revenue that keeps our state running. Families give to Connecticut consistently & without fail. Its time for CT to give back
