But I believe we need to go further. If we’re serious about putting the public interest first, we should work toward getting corporate money out of government and making sure the voices of Pennsylvanians—not special interests—are driving the decisions we make.

I'm so proud of the way our legislature finally came together to build a #PABudget that benefits so many Pennsylvanians. From education to healthcare, community safety to job growth, this budget promises to move PA forward. AND WE DIDN’T RAISE ONE TAX OR TOUCH OUR RAINY DAY FUND!

The weather was beautiful and we had a great crowd at my annual Women's Expo! I'm happy to once again partner with @RepMadden to continue providing information on the many programs and services available for all ages in Monroe County.

Our veterans deserve our never-ending gratitude, not balancing our budget on their backs. My legislation delivers tax relief to those who served and sacrificed.

For too long wealthy individuals & corporations have exploited our tax system to pay less than their fair share. We can’t let that continue. I'm working to reform the system so we can educate our kids, care for seniors & help those in need. https://t.co/6Tu4N4gBw6

Today's #PABudget address was optimistic and encouraging! From working families to seniors, students to veterans, I'm excited to continue working to put money back in your pocket and deliver resources that benefit Monroe and Pike counties.

If you’re a disabled veteran times are painfully tough. We have a property tax relief program for certain disabled veterans. My legislation would expand that to include more disabled veterans because they deserve it!

Our democracy took a giant leap forward by ratifying the 19th amendment and granting women the right to vote. We must continue to protect this by exercising our right to vote in every election!

It has been over a decade since the minimum wage was raised in Pennsylvania. Tell your Senator hard-working Pennsylvanians like you deserve a raise and a stronger economy here: https://t.co/kV5twaQ6zq

Federal officials in Washington, D.C. are debating making disastrous cuts to Medicare/Medicaid/SNAP that would be devastating to nearly 40% of people living in the 189th District. Please call Congress (202-225-5546) and tell them to vote NO on the federal reconciliation bill.

Here at the Capitol, @PAHouseDems continue to fight for the needs and prosperity of all Pennsylvanians and this #PaBudget season is no different. I’m working toward improved investments into education, raising the minimum wage, and investments into maternal health.

For years, cyber charter schools have been playing by a different set of rules & financially draining our public education system, particularly here in Monroe County. Thankfully the #PAHouse just passed a bill to bring much needed accountability to cyber charters across PA.

The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline provides help when people need it most. The problem is - many don't know it exists. That's why I'm working to create a public awareness campaign to ensure everyone is aware of this life-saving resource.
