🚨I just joined Democrats AND Republicans to pass a resolution that forces President Trump to end U.S. involvement in the Iran War.
The American people have already paid far too high a price. It’s time to bring our troops home, bring down costs, and focus on making life better for working families.
Nobody cares for our land more than the Upstate farmers who work it every single day. When I took part in Unadilla’s Manure Injection Field Day last summer, I saw firsthand how our farms are leading the way on cutting-edge conservation practices. I’m proud the Farm Bill expands these practical programs so we can protect New York agriculture for generations to come.
Fire departments across Upstate New York are paying more, getting less, and waiting longer for the equipment they need.
@MayorKraham sounded the alarm on this issue, and together we joined the IAFF in demanding answers about whether anti-competitive practices are driving up costs and putting public safety at risk.
If DOJ and FTC won't do their jobs, I'll force the issue.
Living up to the promise of Never Forget means making sure that 9/11 survivors and first responders get the best care possible.
That’s why I’m calling on @SecKennedy to expand the cancer screenings covered by the World Trade Center Health Program. It’s the least we can do to make these lifesaving tests available to those who were on the frontlines during America’s darkest day.
Thanks to the war in Iran, Upstate New Yorkers have already paid an extra $450 just to fill up the tank. It’s a slap in the face of everyone already struggling to make ends meet.
We need to end this war, bring our troops home, and finally focus on what people sent us here to do: lower costs for working families.

Growing up down the street from the Cider Mill, I learned early on that Upstate New York grows the best apples in the world. But after a brutal spring freeze devastated this year’s crops, our local apple growers are hurting.
That’s why I fought to make sure the Farm Bill includes real fixes to make crop insurance work for Upstate apple growers and establishes a specialty crop emergency framework to help our family orchards bounce back.
Upstate firefighters put their lives on the line for us every day.
They shouldn’t have to overpay for lifesaving equipment because a handful of companies have rigged the system.
That’s why I joined the Binghamton Fire Department today. If a system is making it harder for firefighters to protect our communities, then it’s time to fix it.
Upstate New York is at its best when everybody feels welcome, everybody is treated with dignity, and everybody gets a fair shot.
That’s worth celebrating this month and fighting for all year long.
Happy Pride Month, #NY19. 🏳️🌈
Not-so-fun fact: most honey in supermarkets isn’t real – it’s overly processed, adulterated junk. That’s bad for consumers, and it’s even worse for Upstate New York’s apiaries like Kutik’s.
My bipartisan Honey Integrity Act – which passed as part of this year’s Farm Bill – would update labelling standards to make sure that only real honey gets to be called honey.
Our district is home to 4,500 farms, one million acres, and nearly 500,000 people living in rural communities. I’ll always put Upstate New York first - and I’ll stand up to anyone from either party who stands in the way.
I’m proud to have secured dozens of Upstate priorities in the Farm Bill that recently passed the House. Stay tuned here to learn more about these wins ⬇️
Upstate New York makes the best milk and yogurt in the world. It’s breakfast for me and the kids almost every morning – and every kid deserves that same healthy start. My bipartisan amendment to the Farm Bill helps put healthy, local dairy on the tables across the country. It’s good for kids and good for Upstate farmers.
Upstate farmers grow some of the best food in the world.
They shouldn’t have to spend half their time filling out paperwork just to do it.
That’s why I fought to cut red tape for small organic farms in this year’s Farm Bill.
Less bureaucracy. More farming.
From volatile markets to severe storms, Upstate farmers weather constant stress and uncertainty to keep our communities fed. They shouldn’t have to face that burden alone.
I’m proud to support the bipartisan Agriculture Access to Addiction and Mental Health Care Act to make sure farmers in Upstate New York get the support they deserve.
Whole milk is packed with the nutrition our kids need to grow up healthy, and there’s no reason it shouldn't be on every school menu. I'm proud to have led the bipartisan fight to bring local whole milk back to school lunches, and now we’re securing a fix in the Farm Bill to add it to breakfasts, too.
It’s a common-sense win for our kids and the family farms that power Upstate New York.

When Laura ran into red tape with the Social Security Administration, she reached out to our office for help. I’m happy my team was able to cut through the bureaucracy and get Laura the money she was owed!

Nearly 1.4 million veterans in this country face food insecurity. It’s a disgrace.
That’s why I’m proud to support the Feed Hungry Veterans Act to make it easier for disabled vets in Upstate New York to access SNAP benefits and keep food on the table.
Growing up in Endicott, I saw firsthand what happens when companies close plants and ship jobs overseas to pad their bottom line. Right now, our tax code rewards them for doing exactly that.
I'm proud to co-sponsor the No Tax Breaks for Outsourcing Act — because companies that invest in our communities should be rewarded, and corporations that ship jobs overseas shouldn't get a dime from American taxpayers.
Closed out a meaningful Memorial Day in Binghamton.
God bless those we’ve lost.
God bless our veterans and those still serving.
God bless the United States of America.
And God Bless Upstate New York.
