Let us remember that our diversity is our strength, to respect others and help them feel included. Last week #PAHouse did just that by passing legislation that would make Eid al-Fitr, of the Muslim faith, an official state holiday. #Respect#DiversityIsOurStrength

Walking Lehigh Ave from 25th - 28th Street. Had open & honest conversations with our business owners, listened to what they need, & shared resources including FREE storefront security camera installations. So many great businesses in our district this is what community looks like
On the ground at 25th & Lehigh
I joined community leaders at QCHC to hear directly from residents about neighborhood needs, healthcare access, & opportunities for growth. Focused on keeping the community connected, supported, and thrive.

Hit-and-runs are a problem all across Philly โ our communities deserve answers and victims deserve justice. I'm pushing for education & outreach at the neighborhood level. Let's bring these resources to our block captains & community meetings.
Thank you to @mychesco for highlighting my bill to help you better plan for housing and parking costs. You deserve to know everything about your property before you sign a lease. #PaHouse
Thank you to @RepRoniGreen for inviting Team KGR to join the Lehigh Avenue Corridor tour alongside the Philadelphia Commerce Department.
We had the opportunity to speak directly with constituents and local business owners along the corridor, hearing firsthand about their experiences, challenges, and the investments they want to see in their community.
You deserve to know everything about a rental property before you sign a lease - that includes details on parking. My bill to require transparency on parking costs was unanimously approved by the #PaHouse today and now goes to the #PaSenate.

My bill to require condo landlords to define parking availability & fees to tenants passed the #PaHouse Housing Committee! This would help open up more street parking for folks who really need it - folks without off-street parking options.
No money for food while SNAP benefits are being stolen.
No money for LIHEAP.
No money for increased gas prices.
No increase in the federal minimum wage!
But billions for a war we shouldnโt be in!
Itโs not a budget problem,
Itโs a donโt give a damn problem!
After the recent controversy with Penn State, it was an ideal time to meet with representatives of the university in a @PADemPolicy hearing about wage disparities & unionizing. I took the opportunity to send the message that union busting will never work in Pennsylvania.
