The indefinite closure of Locust Avenue in South Strabane Township between Hudak Hill Road and the I-79 interchange has caused significant difficulties since the landslide in late March.

PennDOT said it hopes to receive funding to repair the slide starting this summer.

No Tax on Whiskey!

In the spirit of this year’s semiquincentennial, Washington County history and in celebration of the annual Whiskey Rebellion Festival this summer, I am introducing legislation to suspend all taxes on whiskey in Pennsylvania for the month of July 2026.
