In a time when the cost of living and housing continues to rise, why does a credit bureau stand to profit off of those who will soon be struggling to pay for health care? https://t.co/h62FhrAVmP

He later conceded that the estimated credit for the ultra wealthy, which will be to the tune of several thousand dollars annually, was “yeah, a big number difference.”
We can do better than this one-time benefit for the majority of our workers and families.
"Do you think $150 is a sufficient amount for a family in need?" That's the question I asked about the tax bill from this latest special session.
Thursday, the Republicans passed another income tax reduction -- a third in the past 13 months with a budget cost of $1.6 billion.
Most workers and families in Arkansas will receive just a one-time $150 tax credit. After I asked my question, a Republican Representative said he thought the $150 credit was “very significant.”
Early clarification: My vote will not appear on the tally machine in the chamber, as I have paired it. But the in official journal tally, it will be importantly listed as a "no" on both bills.
This morning, I will vote "no" on both the still flawed FOIA law and the income tax revision. This special session was unnecessary from the start and has not produced legislation that helps build a brighter Arkansas for our families. #arkleg
