It’s about time. Dems forced this vote over the wishes of Donald Trump, Speaker Johnson and all but a handful of Republicans.
The House FINALLY has passed a War Powers Resolution to check Trump’s unauthorized and illegal war.
In this country, no one, not even a President, should be above the law.
Today’s visit to see my constituent detained by ICE down in Louisiana was emotional, but so important.
Being able to give him letters from his wife and daughter was heartwarming. I was also able to secure the privacy form we need to help us handle his immigration case.
I'll keep fighting to ensure that the Flores-Bravo family has a chance at asylum, and that everyone in this country is afforded due process and treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Early morning heading to the airport to visit with my constituent who’s being held by ICE in a Louisiana detention center.
ICE won’t work with us to get the privacy form needed to help him, so I’m headed down there to get it myself.
I’m fighting to hold the DOJ accountable and for the release of ALL the Epstein Files.
The perpetrators of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes must be brought to justice.
This week, I was proud to announce that I secured $850,000 for the City of Northwoods’ new Community Health and Education Center.
Excited to see this new development become a vital resource and hub to all of the people it will serve, bringing accessible health and education resources to Northwoods residents.
Yesterday, I was proud to officially announce the $30 million federal grant we secured for the construction of the new @flystl terminal.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: The St. Louis region is a sleeping giant. And real progress like this is how we begin waking it up.
Tomorrow, Pam Bondi sits before the Oversight Committee for a transcribed interview.
The victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein deserve the FULL truth.
@RepNikkiB and I just toured the Ste. Genevieve County Jail, which is being used as an ICE detention center. People deserve so much better than how they’re being treated at these facilities.
On this and every Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave service members who gave their lives to protect this country.
Thank you for your service.
Such an honor to host my second annual Congressional Art Competition, and was absolutely blown away by the talent of these students.
Big congrats to Kaylynn Ellis, a senior at Hazelwood West High School, who won 1st place with her oil painting depicting (and titled):
"The Tulsa Race Massacre."
Thank you to Kaylynn and all of the students who participated in this year’s competition for sharing your amazing talent with us!
Yesterday, I was proud to vote to send $1.76 billion to support and expand critical healthcare infrastructure at John J. Cochran Veterans Hospital right here in Missouri’s 1st District.
Our support for our troops cannot end when they come home. We will forever be indebted to the sacrifices they have made to defend our country, and I will keep fighting in Congress to ensure our troops receive the best care possible.
Thank you to everyone who joined my Telephone Town Hall. I do this work for YOU, and it reaffirmed my “why” getting to listen to you all Tuesday night.
The Annie Malone May Day Festival was phenomenal!
Thank you to the entire team @AnnieMaloneCFSC under the leadership of my friend Keisha Lee for all of the work you do for "our babies" in the St. Louis Region.
You will ALWAYS have a friend and advocate in me.
Yesterday, I stood with @TheBlackCaucus in unanimous opposition to the SCORE Act. Black athletes have helped build college athletics into the powerhouse it is today.
I cannot support legislation that benefits major athletic institutions while so many remain silent as Black voting rights and Black political power are systematically undermined across our country.
I will always fight to protect the right of every American to vote, and this moment demands leaders willing to stand up for fair representation and equal access to the ballot box.
Thank you to all of the constituents who took the time to join my Telephone Town Hall tonight. It was so great getting to speak to you and answer your questions live. And thank you to Kennedy from @amprog for sharing your expertise with all of us.
Let’s keep working together to make Missouri’s First District a better, safer place for us all.
Registration for tonight’s Telephone Town Hall closes in 30 MINUTES! Be sure to sign up and join me for a discussion on disaster relief efforts and how I’m fighting back against Trump’s dangerous policies.

This is a HUGE win for the St. Louis region. I’m proud to announce $30 million in federal funding for the St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s new terminal construction project.
The work doesn’t stop here— I’ll keep fighting to bring more resources and regional growth to our district.
