Today marks my last day as a member of the House of Representatives. I am immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to serve Central New York and the Mohawk Valley in this role. I believe the country is on a better trajectory today than it was just two years ago.

Public service is an honorable pursuit when guided by desire to do right by our community and our country. What moved me to run for Congress is precisely what moved me to join the Navy in 1990.

Stephanie and I are excited for the challenges and opportunities on the horizon, and we remain grateful to everybody who trusted us over the past two years.

Our country is in a pivotal moment, and my prayers and support are with President-elect Trump, Speaker Johnson, and all those seeking to make our country more prosperous and secure.
