One of the things my colleagues and I are trying to stop are false rumors. @FEMA has a new site to help determine Facts vs. Myths

@Lee4Wisconsin Thank you very much for the kind words! I've been a tech guy for decades, and have seen the abuses of personal data that can take place. It's nice not only that I can do something, but to hear from people that they really do care about their privacy.
Thanks for the encouragement @Fredhum! As someone who has lived and breathed tech for decades, this is an issue near and dear to my heart, and I always appreciate companies who take consumer privacy seriously.
Encouraging conversations are taking place in many states about the importance of #privacy. In #WI, we appreciate the work @RepZimmerman is doing to advance these issues and we look forward to working with him.

Congrats to @HudsonSchoolsWI for receiving a "significantly exceeds expectations" rating from the Department of Public Instruction. Thanks to the teachers, @DrNickOuellette, and the many, many people involved in ensuring Hudson kids have a truly fantastic education!
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development is closing the Unemployment Insurance Appeals office in Eau Claire. Today I joined my colleagues in requesting Secretary Frostman reverse this decision, which will lower access for residents outside of Madison or Milwaukee.
Wonderful day, glad to see AB 168 signed, which will allow those unable to speak their name and address to get assistance when voting. Congratulations to my constituent, Ramsey Lee, for his idea getting signed into law.
SB 208 was an all around great experience, working with Sen. Marklein, Rep. Fields, and @WiscTechCouncil to help entrepreneurs (something very near and dear to my own experience!)
Duty, honor, courage. On this Veteran's Day we remember the sacrifices of all who served, and what they endured to protect the people they loved.

The Governor should not have vetoed the $15 million we put aside for mental health funding in Western Wisconsin. I will join my colleagues in attempting a veto override.
WI is the top state in paper and wood furniture. Forestry provides over 64,000 jobs and has an output of $24.7 billion. It also provides nearly $900 million in combined direct and indirect tax revenue for our state.
Today the Senate is taking up the bill I did with Sen. Bernier allowing those unable to speak their name before voting to receive assistance. AB 168 was the idea of a constituent of mine and I'm happy to see it pass!
Thanks @drwisconsin for your help on this important bill.
